Actually "HYPHY" was the first HYPHY video of the "movement".
read the whole post and then say something....I said that these were the first 2...but you're lying if you're saying the buzz around the fed's Hyphy was bigger than the video for "Super Hyphy" people couldn't stop talkin about Keak's video shoot...and to me, the video for Super Hyphy still came out kind of weak...my point was that Super Hyphy has been one of the best songs out of this "movement".......

.....BUT IF WE REALLY WANNA BE HONEST, TO PAVE THE WAY FOR SOMETHING MEANS THAT YOU HAVE GOTTEN SOMEWHERE, AND THE BAY HASN'T MADE AS HUGE OF AN IMPACT THAT PEOPLE THINK!!!

Well as much as WE loved "Super Hyphy" in Northern California, that's where the majority of the buzz was. Hyphy opened the door for the whole hi-tempo style that tracks patturned Supr Hyphy off of. Also, Hyphy helped break down some doors for the other shit to follow suite. Plus Hyphy did ern them some video play and a whole feature on MTV "U seen it first"...and that was 2 years before Super Hyphy.

I agree that keak is a big factor in the movement. I never said he wasnt. Fact of the matter is, "hyphy" was the first song of the movement. First video. Super Hyphie just now started to get hella play. Yes, its a video for the movement...no, it didnt kick the door down.

I still think you're a moron for not acknowledging the impact Super Hyphy had on the "movement". It may not have kicked any doors down, but it helped, just as Trax said of himself in reference to the "movement".

And you're still a moron for this thread.

Your a moron for not respecting my opinion.

I didnt say it didnt have any impact...I said it didnt kick the door down.
40s single helped open the door...yet its not completely kicked down. Hopefully with the release of more bay area artists into the mainstream it will kick the door wide open...and yes, I am a FED fan...so what...they have been a big part of the movement from the start.

I WILL SCAN THE INTERVIEW AS SOON AS I FIND IT...

Federation and E-40 was all chillin in RICK's studio and E-40 suggested , that they should make a track about Hyphy, cause it hadn't been done yet...

IT WAS NEVER FOR E-40...

Rick Rock was working on the FEDERATION album!

I've asked Rick about this too....
Cali Cliente is 100 correct...

HATERS KEEP TALKING SHIT.... I'LL SCAN THE INTERVIEW ASAP

^No, it just seems as if you're biased, this thread isn't even about the feds but as soon as someone brings them up, you suddenly have some in put, in their favor. Why not look at the Traxamillion interview and give your opinion on that. That's the debate of the thread, not who started hyphy "Fed-Life"..

yes but that Federation song was NOT picking up that big of a buzz. It would have been a hit, but Rick Rock fumbled with putting that horridly annoying sound effect every 6 bars or so, thats why it took Super Hyphy to come out to really put eyes on the Yey

Trax is one of the co inventors of the hyphy movement...he helped the movement and helped define a sound we like to listen to, and since has put three-4 hits for artists out the bay....Id say he is one of the main hyphy producers who has his own style and sound, so nobody can take that away from TRAX

he does one song that barely sounds lyk another song from a mainstream singer n he's horrible. his otha beats are original:
The Team-Just Go
Dem Hoodstarz-Grown Man On
Keak-Super Hyphy (doesn't sound lyk bang it)
Keak-On Citaz (sounds lyk super hyphy but it still slaps n he made super hyphy anyway)
Izz Thizz-Do It
Traxamillion-Bring It Back
Caraya Rose-Heey!
San Quinn-Its a Done Deal
Turf Talk ft. Dem Hoodstarz-Wakin Em Up

Rick Rock created the hyphy sound...others heard it and put a spin on it...PERIOD...if you feel different...cool...your opinion...
No one other than 40 has had a true hit from the bay...He is the first to go mainstream from the movement

Exactly and to tell the truth the only 3 songs with a real buzz coming from the bay are

Tell Me When To Go
You N Dat
Blow The Whistle

ALL PRODUCED BY LIL JON...Super Hyphy was a great song WITH IN NORTHERN CALI, but it wasn't a big hit, Trax is in no a co-founder of the Hyphy sound. He makes "slapps" but come on.
