Anyone watch this show way back when, i did cuz my dad always watched it. Im watching it right now. Nice show about the Vietnam War, kinda surprising how good it was for its time.

Watched it with my dad every week. I haven't seen it since though. But it sure made me love Paint it Black by the stones - to this day my favorite song of theirs. It is in my netflix queue to re-watch eventually though.

My question is, was this show controversial when it was on? Its a trip all the info it gives about the actual war, seems like the government wouldnt be feeling it to much.

I don't think it was controversial. Pretty sure it won emmy's.

I just read that the DVD's don't have the original music on them. Like no Paint It Black for the theme.

WTF!?!?!

I don't think I'm going to even get them any more because of that. Just leave them as I remember them.

that sucks, i downloaded a dvdrip so that must not have the music. I couldnt remember what the music was so i wasnt disappointed at all, it actually tripped me out the music that was playing for the theme for the dvdrip. Just like some asian war chant it sounds like
