you're an idiot.... did you know babe ruth was a pitcher to begin his career? so he only got to hit every other day... and if your logic wasnt to only make black players look good, you would that Sadaharu Oh hit over 800 home runs in japan, yet you make no mention of his accomplishments...
lol had to resort to name calling... must've struck a nerve.. clam down killer - I'm not tryin to turn this into a capslock situation lmaooo

It's common knowledge that Ruth was a pitcher... but during those 5 seasons he hit for a grand total of 20 home runs...

My point still stands... if the MLB was integrated during the time Ruth was playing, his career home run total would've been less than 700... because going against pitchers like Satchel Paige would've made the league 'less homer friendly'...

BTW I knew about Oh... I was merely opening up the flood gates by being first to mention non-MLB players... although to make my point more valid in the eyes of the masses - one of the players I named played ended up playing in the MLB (albeit 1st season at the age of 42)...

Remember before you get mad - it's only the internet

you couldn't be more right with this answer...people forget there was a whole nother league out there at that time period...alot of players from that era in the major's did not see half of the talent playin' at that time...it would've been a different game all together

exactly, it was a whole different game back then, Ruth hit balls out of stadiums that had never had balls hit out of them, the dimensions in baseball fields were huge back then, Ruth led the league with 11 home runs 1 year, im not irritated at what you said, its just you dont know the history of the game...

Barry Bonds is the greatest baseball player of all time. Its a disgrace how the MLB and the bay area turned their back on him
i agree. if the fans wanna be mad at anyone for steroids it should be the billionaire owners and faggot ass commish that let it go on so they could recoup the major losses they sustained after the strike shortened season of 1994. they pretty much promoted steroid use but they get a pass from people who hop on the media witchhunt bandwagon. fucking faggots. bud selig and mlb owners ruined baseball. not barry bonds.

the 94 strike started the ball rolling. how you gunna cancel the fucking world series. it takes serious faggotry to cancel the world series and when the fans responded by pocketing their dollars, bud selig and his billionaire buttfuck buddies encouraged steroid use to attract the fans back with home run chases and "who can look like more of a freak slash gorilla" contests.

now the people who came back for the freak show are mad again and leaving in droves. baseball used to be americas past time. preseason nfl football is more important to americans nowadays and thats the truth. blame bonds all you want but its not his fault.

Still succs that the media and former players are still gonna throw dirt on there names, so they don't go in to the hall of fame
