Touch on a couple of things, I got Cotto up there real high probably because I have watched all of his fights from the jump and got to hang out with the kid in LA after the Jones/Gonzales fight were Cotto destroyed another stepping stone. Cotto isint anywhere near a "great" but I get more excited to see him fight than almost any other fighter out there.

As for Johnson, being a huge Boxing fan I have seen about a half dozen of his fights. He was decades ahead of his time. Check out the PBS special if they play it again "Unforgivable Blackness" he was a pioneer.

Another couple of great fighters Aaron Pryor,Julian Jackson,

Here's a list of my favorite fighters of all time, in no particular order..

Marvin Hagler
Tommy Hearns
Gerald McClellan
Johnny Tapia
Vince Phillips
Marco Antonio Barrera
Erik Morales
Arturo Gatti
Micky Ward
Mike Tyson (80's version)

Not particularly because of their greatness or anything, but fighters I admire and respect for one reason or another.

Who's yours???
Is that the same Gerald Mclellan from Freeport, IL who career ended early cause of brain damage or somethin caused from a fight?
