2Pac's latest compilations, Best of 2Pac-Part 1: Thug hit the charts at No. 65, while Best Of 2Pac- Part 2: Life debuted at No. 77. Part 1 moved 22,500 copies and Part 2, 18,900.

JIVE GAVE THIS ALBUM NO PROMOTION BECAUSE IT IS SHORT'S LAST JIVE ALBUM. THIS ALBUM DOES SLAP THOUGH IT'S A SHAME IT'S BEING SLEPTON. I'VE TALKED TO ALOT OF CATS THAT DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT SHORT HAS A NEW ALBUM.

I seen that album, didn't even know it dropped, but i seened it at best buy.. I dunno if I wanna cop that shiet tho. I read somewhere his next shit gon be on some political type shiet. I might be interested in that, but I aint too interested in that get off the stage.

Im sure jive dogged him on purpose. Didnt promo it and I had a hard time getting it the 1st day. They had not stocked it in the stores. Had to get my copy from the back room. So if $hort goes out to get a new deal, they look at his last album sales and say..."you really dont move units anymore"....Shady if u ask me

wheres the single? Wheres the promotion? I've looked at the track listing and heard most of the songs almost a year ago. The one song people are talking about is F.u.c.k.y.o.u. and I was sick of that november 2006.
So why would I go buy it? Love for short dog, but I have better shit to spend my money on.
When the bay area steps their game up I'll buy a cd. When they stop putting the same fucking songs over and over on every cd, i'll buy a cd. When thizz ent. drops 90% of their horrible fucking roster and actually produces something that doesn't sound like it was produced with a computer mic and only talk about pills and scrapers, i'll buy a cd.

can't blame fans for not putting up with bullshit. If a products not selling theres two reasons why:
1) lack of buyer awareness (promotion)
2) lack of quality (I.E. pretty much every bay album this year)

i miss the cocktales / get in where you fit in / shorty the pimp days...i didnt care for this cd much, the beats to me just doesnt match short
