Alright, I see some people think that I may have got screwed over with a bootleg...believe me, this isn't a bootleg. The fact that the tracks don't play in the correct order just goes to show that Jive Records made a mistake.
It's the record company's fault, not anybody else's. The eBayer seller was straight about it, he let it be known he was sorry about it. This is just another case of a big factory mistake. I wonder how they press big releases like this, if its in mass numbers by machine only or if people are supervising it? I don't know much about that kind of factory work, but I guess like Spice said, "you know you done fucked up, don't you?!?"

i got mine at the store a few years ago and the order of the songs is totally wrong also like your is too! this is the second one i bought like this and i think it is a track listing error or music company error!
That's it, now I have proof that it wasn't just me that got screwed over.
Damn Jive Records, Im'a buy a real oldschool og used CD of Cocktails.
I hate those re-pressings anyway. It doesn't feel like the real thing, even though it is. What the hell, they can't get one of Too Short's funkiest, pimpinest albums right!? It's a crime! I hope they haven't fucked up Life Is... or shit-Born To Mack!!! I bought that as a newer release a couple years ago, nothing wrong though. They better be more careful with the Bay Classics mane.

Years ago Columbia House or BMG (can't remember which) was selling this album for 1.99 and I got one and the songs were in the wrong order too. It wasn't edited it was the explicit version.

Yep, that's the one I have alright. It's the explicit version with the PA warning ON the front insert. Speaking of BMG are some weak muthafuckas. They 'decided' to stop manufacturing Rap/Hip-Hop releases back in the day.
Columbia House are some weak fools too. I wonder how many people bought these 'fucked-up song order' versions, and how much money was made?

Bottom line is, and let me leave it at this, is if you ever decide to buy this CD used, better make sure you listen to it before you buy! Obviously, the ones you buy from major retail stores today are alright. It just seems to be the case with older copies, and maybe it's just the ones people bought from book clubs like Columbia House or BMG.
