Naw I'm not holding a piece. I'm writing a song about a girl wanting to kill her man for cheating on her. I want to use the line "So I load and lock the glock. You don't know what I've been through. Load and lock the glock. I'll put a bullet in you." I just want to make sure so people won't say I got it backwards.

No offense, but this line has been OVERUSED by gangsta rappers over the last 15 years or so, that is NOT "artistic". Matter of fact, i think Spice 1 uses that line at LEAST once on EVERY album he EVER did.

Yeah I know it's a played out line but the ryhme scheme is tight. When I was talking about artistic skill I was talking about making music, not that particular line. Wikipedia said load and lock was how you loaded the M1 rifle in WWI. Then it changed in WWII. Fuck it. Lock and load it is.
