Let me tell you a bit about your "hometown" support....it almost NEVER happens until you blow the fuck up. It's a SAD, SAD part of the game. I ain't from KCMO, but if the majority of KCMO ain't supportin TECH....that's a sad case. See to most, the artists from they town is just "LOCAL" and they don't respect it like the rest of the world does. In Cali it's the same way...cats be woofin on certain folks out here..."they wack, they don't rep the bay, they ain't even the bay "Style"...blah blah blah"....Yet, it be "THAT" mofucka that is doin tours, sellin out shows and gettin so much love across the nation accept HOME.
It's fucken sad...like the sayin goes...some cats gotta FEEL the PAIN to BELIEVE IT...KCMO, should be supportin this cat as a whole...I have seen him perform in other states and they FLIP THEY WIG ON THE CAT...it's BEAUTIFUL.

The whole "Tech ain't doin shit for KC Rap" claim is bullshit.
He's got 3....count em....3 KC artists on his label. (Kutt, Kaliko and S&S). How many KC artists have been on his albums? RDVs, Big Boy Levar, D-Loc and Dilema, Lejo, Big Bear, Rock Money, Mr Stinky, Money Hungry, Skatterman, Snug Brim, Kutt, Kaliko, Grant Rice......the list goes on.
Who did he take on tour? Grant Rice, Kutt, Kaliko, Snug and Skatterman, Hobo Tone and BG Bulletwound. Also has had Vertigo on select shows.
You could make about 6 or 7 cds of just colabs that Tech has done with KC artists.....and that's real talk!
Also I dont think half of rap listners in KC are smart enough to listen to Tech's shit. They see the red hair and shit and they play him off.
I guess some people are just content with hearing about selling crack and shit.
As for people booing at shows...i've never heard them....but they obviously paid to see dude....so they got a weird way of protesting him.
