I remember a while back me & some of my folks were having a disussion on rapperz that went out like suckaz & one of the homiez had told me that the song To Live & Die In L.A. by 2Pac waz originally called To Live & Die In The Bay but Suge Knight told'em 2 change that shit cuz he ain't in the Bay no more.

Haz anyone else heard about thiz? No disrespect but I alwayz felt like Pac waz a bandwagon rider & I never bought into the thug character that he so much glorified so if thiz iz true then that just proves my theory correct.

He's still one of the best rappers of all time to me but I think to a certain point the thug character was partly an act too, after going through that acting school when he was growing up. RIP tho, acting or not dood was as real as it gets

I think Pac himself has explained his role in the entertainment industry many times. That the "Thug" role he played was just that, a role he played. Bringing attention to what was going on in his community..It worked!

There are a million lies & facts about Pac that go unanswered. To actually call someone a bandwagon rider with what you see only on the television or hear on the internet is bullshit. Maybe your definition of a thug is different from Tupac's. Either way, homie got shot 5 times and 4 more in Vegas. Listen to against all odds, that song is straight thug, gangster, whatever you want to call it. Don't get it twisted in a lock, 2Pac was the realest. Dude was good on politics too.

yeah i agree. nobody but the complete fans bought the superthug persona but he was like someone who just soaked up people's personalities and made it his own. he was very empathetic (www.dictionary.com).
