To buy or not to buy KOF XII

I'm really in debate about this one.

I want to get it just cause it's a next gen fighter but as a whole I've always found KOF gameplay to be extremely boring so it's hard for me to get excited about this.

Pros:

• Next Gen Format/Taito Type X2
• New Sprites
• SNK Flagship Series
• 3 on 3 teams and tons of varitey
• Scrubs who couldn't hang with BB or SF4 will flock to it
• Online Gameplay
• New Mechanics

Cons:

• Same old PS1 looking special effects
• Typical KOF gameplay
• Japan has already wrote the game off as garbage
• I'm not tired of playing BB yet
• Hard to think I'll get 60$ worth of gaming out of this
• Very small high level American scene

well if fighting games are the main genre you play than you can never have enough. I mean if you're a first person shooter fan one could make the same arguement, how many FPS do you need?

I'm buying this game. I've been a kof fan since day one. This is my shit and now that it has online I'll be that much more excited over it. This game and marvel vs capcom 2 will hold me off for the rest of summer.

when fools can't cut it on the bigger games they flock to the smaller ones. In this case KOF.

new sprites, new backgrounds, horrible ps1-esque special effects that take soooo much away from the game.
