I was not coming off angry, I just hate when people get on here and hate. especially if you have no background or relevance, as far as I know, you are some dude just speaking your mind on a message board, which is cool, but you sound just like every other street corner professor.
and sometimes it helps my own self esteem to put others down. lol

on the real, I am not insecure. Ive got a lil knowledge in Flash(3 years) and photoshop, I strive everyday to be better than yesterday. The work I complete today, pays for my learning tomorrow, and the time to read insignificant posts like this one.

even though your "Coming Soon" statements are inticing...
.... Id rather anticipate the new Lord of the Rings movie than wait around here to see if you "are up to par".

My personal advice is to look at ugly sites...they are perfect examples of what NOT to do.

When it comes to web design one must remember it is not 80% design & 20% programming or vice versa, it is intertwining the two to create a smooth balance via integration. Finding a comfortable medium in which you can have your site not only pleasing in appearance but function in any given environment is far more important than an overly graphic intense site which takes extensive time to load...your average 28-56k dial-up user exits before it finishes anyhow. Just my own outlook on web design...another 2 pennies thrown into the mix.

GRYME is the same guy who does the PYROTECHNIKZ site and STRICKLY STACKIN PRODUCTIONS SITE. He's alright at what he does. My 2 pennies is that I do my shit for clients and I design for them. I design what they want, not what I think looks dope or out of this world. They are peeps who like to showcase their work and spend hours on it and not even see a penny after it. Then there others who use their artistic and hustling skills and make more than enough money to make a living out of it. So there's no need to be stressing your ass trying to make the most unique and best designs in the world, especially if you're going to be ending up broke. Just hustle, hustle, and hustle. You'll learn shit along the way anyways

I personally can't see how a designer/company would not put there all into ANY project. Yes, design for the customer. That doesn't mean that your layouts need to look 2nd rate because it is not exactly what you want to see. Tweak the customer's idea into a visual presentation that will still incorporate your ideas & talents & properly represent what kind of work you can offer to the next prospective client & bring it to a point to where you are satisfied with it. Of course some things you may not like at all but you should never just not like anything about it (in my opinion anyways).

I put my all into any & everything I design & if you don't...then your designs will show that you are no more than a 2nd rate designer...you'll be the 2nd option to people that take their time & dedicate their energy, creativity & talents to a project regardless of who the customer is. If I do something for free...it is gonna look like something that someone peeled a leaf of lettuce (money for the don't knows) for anyway.

Not directed to anyone imparticular, just giving a flipside view to Global's comments...just some personal thoughts.

I DO THE SAME WITH CLIENTS, BUT AS OF LATELY ALL I HAVE BEEN GETTING IS PEOPLE WANTING ME TO DO IT MY WAY BECAUSE THATS WHAT HAS BEEN ATTRACTING PEOPLE. (AS YOU PROBABLY KNOW, IT IS HARD TO FIND CLIENTS THAT LET YOU HAVE COMPLETE FREEDOM WITH THE DESIGN.)

WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGN IS THE SAME WITH EVERYTHING GENRE OF DESIGN, IT IS AN ARTFORM. I AIN'T KNOCKING ANYBODY'S GRIND, I'M SAYING MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR ALL INTO EVERY SINGLE PROJECT YOU PUT OUT. IF YOU GONE DO IT, DO IT RIGHT.
