how many titans games do you watch? ive seen every one for the past three years and i can tell you that lendale white this past year faced more 8 and even 9 in the box then any other rb in the leauge...this due to the fact of norm chows play calling....he would run between the taclkes first and 2nd down 80 percent of the time.....every game....i seen maybe 2-3 toss plays the whole season...teams KNEW what we were doing every single play it seemed....but lendale white drug defenders 2 or 3 at a time sometimes...

lendale white hasnt even started his career yet....he is extremly young and came into a situation that wasnt to good to start with...
IM SAYIN..........

but na, these dudes will see. you would swear dude was Cedric Benson the way these dudes are callin it.

Lendale White will be an elite RB in the league.

And youre entitled to your opinion. I said, if you read correctly, he has played SUB PAR THUS FAR.

You act like Lendale is the only back EVER to face 8 man fronts.

People act like Lendale didnt have MANY questions comin out the draft for THIS very reason...and he is plyin to those questions admirably.

Now, your question is "could Lendale become an ELITE back"....my answer is NO. UNLESS, maybe, if he gets into shape.

I've seen a few Titans games... and the reason teams stacked 8 in the box was to "contain" Vince Young and to force him to beat them with his arm. Teams didn't stack 8 in the box to stop Lendale White. WTF? It's not like he's a big threat to take it to the house. The boy entered the draft out of shape... didn't run the 40 yard dash because he said he pulled his hammy (he would have dropped if he would have ran a slow 40 time which he probably would have done anyway) and don't forget he only hit 225 15 times. That's terrible! Lendale will never become an elite back.......He's a poor mans Jerome Bettis with slower feet.

There is a reason why he slipped so much in that draft. But man he looks like the Bus II as previously mentioned.

i never said they stacked 8 in the box to stop lendale white.....they did it first and 2nd down because they knew we were running...we ran it on first and 2nd down 80 percent of the time....most other teams thats around 50 percent half and half....

no one was talking about his draft stock? he got drafted and to this point has passed expectations of most 2nd round draft picks....

slower feet then jerome bettis? i doubt it......poorer vision? probally so....lendale white would smoke a young jerome in a race down the sidelines.....and lendale white is pretty shifty...more then i remember jerome every being

no, i certainlly dont.....i DO however act like he faces more then any other back in the nfl coming outta this past season...i know this for a fact...

due to the fact that we dont have any other people to worry about other then VY who was hurt midway threw the season and never got back to 100 percent...

lendale white was opposing defenses only problem...and he still did his thing

Man... WTF? Lendale White couldn't smoke the old version of Jerome Bettis let alone the young version that played on the Rams. Jerome Bettis was waaaay shiftier than White... White isn't even shifty. You're trippin' with this Bettis/White comparison. There isn't one thing that White does better than Bettis. Bettis had a gut but he had quick feet and agility for a dude his size.

But you lost me when you said Lendale White would "smoke" the young version of Jerome Bettis down the sidelines. Lendale wouldn't smoke any version of Bettis. Lendale is probably the slowest half back in the league... slower than Lamont Jordan. Bettis was a beast... How long have you been watching football dog?

Lendale White wasn't a problem for any defense bruh.... All he do is run up the gut and plow forward. They don't or can't run sweeps to the outside when Lendale is in because he's too slow and can't hit the corner.

Yea Bettis was the quickest fat guy in town. He was a role model for chubby guys worldwide. At his peak he was insanely quick for his size.

I would've hated to try to tackle that guy.

LOL! What are you talking about? We're comparing Lendale White to Jerome Bettis. You said White would "smoke" Bettis down the sideline. Now that we can see who'll smoke who, you come up with this.

Well, seeing as how that vid was from COLLEGE...it is IRRELEVENT to anything NFL. How many times do we have to say that good in college odes NOT mean good in NFL?

Lame argument. Next?

aint really no need to debate.....some think dude is a bust and aint gonna amount to shit, others think hes got what it takes. so we will wait for next season to come along and see what the dude does.

just crazy how 1,200 total yards and 7 tds is considered sub-par. thats way above average in my eyes in the nfl, especially for a second year player.
