Anyone know the real story behind Thugs Get Lonely Too? I've read that Tech remixed himself into it, and I've also read that it's an "official" track. Like he was meant to do it with Pac, but didn't record his part until after his demise. They still wanted him to do it, so he did it but it was never released....
anyone know the truth?

I want to hear it from Tech hehe, maybe you'll peep in here?

yep, that's what's got me parted. I read that interview, and then there's the cursed lyrics, and then there's other stories.... I'm a little confused.

here is the story that i know...

Tech and 2Pac were supposed to do the song together. the beat was done, 2Pac's verse was done, they were just waiting for Tech's verse. Then 2Pac was murdered, so Tech and everybody else was not sure if the song was going to be made, so Tech didn't finish his verse. Then, about a week later, Tech got a call from 2Pac's people saying that they still wanted to do the song. So Tech finished his verse, it was all put together, and released on one of 2Pac's cd's. I don't have any idea what cd it is, and I do not know how accurate this story is, so do not yell at me if anything is wrong.

it came out on a makaveli bootleg but thats nothin official, hence the terrible quality.
daz or amaru might do somethin with it in the future

Well here's the story I've kinda seemed to piece together.
Pac and Tech were both working with QDIII at one time, and Pac told QD he wanted to do a song with Tech.
Then basically what twiztidmn said. But there's a few more things I'm wondering.... For one, I have a live clip of Pac singing this song in '93. Maybe it was concept back then or what, I don't know. And it was supposed to be on Me Against The World. Now hehe, I know tech don't take 3 years to write a verse.....
And also, Tech is in the background of the solo version, and then he's got a verse in the duet version obviously.
So Pac DID want tech in the song, and this can be considered an "official" track, although tech's verse was recorded posthumous.
And it was "released" as a bootleg, but those don't really count.... That's just crap they put out when all 'pac's masters somehow leaked right before the custody change. What a coincidince huh?
