growing up....i was poor....and sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta....

i shopped primarily at k-mart and i would do some thrift shopping for dickies and ben davis....my shoes,socks,boxers...always bought new

unless my aunt took me clothes shopping at the eastridge mall in san jose....i used to go to store called mr.raggs and get clothes there...keep in mind this is 95-96....and thats about the time i started sellin weed and crank..it kept me with new clothes....i remember my mom used to be like...where are you getting all your clothes? cause i was buying clothes damn near daily...i had a pager and i convinced my mom to get me my own phone line....lol i was hustlin though....good times

now a days thrift shops have to be online. ill buy from a thrift shop online on ebay but itll be in a city ill never drive to. for instance ive found kangol hats in different cities for cheap cuz they dont pop in different cities. id pretty much have to be on coke to walk in a thrift store at this point. as it stands im too lazy to go to a regular store. not to shit on it im just saying theres alot of walking around and looking through shit to do when it comes to thrift stores...like 15 minutes might find me a shirt ill fuck with cuz im high as hell and its funny.. to some people, thats what they consider a social life. like my life used to really revolve around record shopping. so some people are thrift store people some aint...you might have someone try it out once or twice but that aint gonna break them as a thrift store person.

the last time i went to a thrift store it was for vinyl records

but now ebay shits on a thrift store. i dont even gotta leave my house. some thrift stores and spots like the salvation army have online merchant accounts thats the best way to do it

if im looking for something specific im not gonna waste my time going to a thrift store and hoping maybe its there, the internet has made things like that alot easier

in a situation like tables and weird shit, id look on craigslist first or hit salvation army...but i think thrift stores serve a purpose andyou can come up on cool shit, its mostly for college kids...my apt in frisco got frunished from kickdowns beyond my bed and comforter and couch...gotta do what you gotta do

Nah Thrift stores still shit on ebay. sure you dont gotta leave your house, but most of the time the shit in the thrift store is cheaper and you dont gotta wait for it to ship to the house.

and if you dont wanna leave the house, thats just lazy

ive been fucked so many times trying to buy anything on ebay/amazon.....even knew shit manages to be broken by the time it gets to me....or people dont list the condition of item properly

and then typically...you'll get the item cheaper than you get raped on shipping..and by then you could have just went to the store

not wanting to leave the house....lazy

i like to get high and just look at all the shit people used to have in their houses. you can find some old skool ass shit at the thrift store. I usually go because i'm trying to find a particular leather jacket that i've been looking for, but i can never find it. I know one day i'll find it in one of those stores. Its like a garage sale without going to peoples houses.

Plus i go to donate my white shirts. I usually have about 16 shirts to donate every month.

Ive been to a few before. Just wash the shit twice BEFORE you wear it. Youll find some cool shit. Just go to the ones that buy used clothes. Like Buffalo Exchange they have some in Shattuck and Telegraph in Berkely and on Haight St.. Workers told me that since the recession, people are desperate and selling their clothes. They got some Designer clothes and everything youll see at the macy's and shit in those stores but I dont know about the regular thrift stores where people just give away shit.
Fixed...
