only vol. 1 and 2 are worth getting - but they are fucking TIGHT as fuck in my book. shame how they start off with a bang, than just start to try and make money off these bullshit releases. its obvious they dont give a fuck about the music over at Thizz.

i dont think its that they dont give a shit what they release..

ima say something right now that will either piss off alot of cats or something else

was it just me but when i first heard "thizz" music, stupid doodoo dumb, al boo boo etc..i thought the production was WAY beyond wack..when i started feelin it was when i started peelin, got older, grew a taste in alot of styles. i think that thizz just stuck in the thizz era where dre left us. they aint working on reinovating the label, they just stucj trying milk the formula obviously not knowing they got the talent to release CAVI ass tracks. out of every thizz nation there is at least ONE slappin ass track. real shit.

Well, this should be clear to everybody by now, but somehow it isn't. I will add that before Dre died, I was generally not feeling his music, he was dropping way too many albums and most of them were not that great. The Game Is Thick 2 was tight, but the other shit he dropped in 2002-2004 was average to wack to me. And I am not from the Bay so I don't have direct observations but I do not think, at least from what I remember seeing on the net at the time, that he enjoyed the iconic status he has now, although he was already a legend. Then they killed him (R.I.P.) and it all started...
