Title: The Ya-Da-Da Movie
Distributor: Image Entertainment (www.image-entertainment.com)
Running Time: 80 Minutes
Format: HD
Release Date: Late Summer on DVD & PSP

Overview:

The "Ya-Da-Da" Movie is right on time for the "Hyphy Movement" that took
off in 2004 and is going to explode in 2006 from the San
Francisco/Oakland Bay Area across the country. Rap artists like Bay Area
godfather E-40 and the late great Mac Dre along with trendsetters like
rap legend Yukmouth and Keak Da Sneak and up and comers like The Team, JPthe13th and Turf Talk are setting the business on fire with their unique brand of hip-hop that goes beyond music and into a lifestyle and culture that
has made "hyphy" the thing to be. Multi-platinum super producer Rick
Rock and his group Federation made the term "Hyphy" famous with their
hit single and video of the same name in 2004 that coincidentally
featured E-40. Now in 2006, E-40 has joined forces with super producer
Lil Jon's BME/Warner Bros. to release his hit single "Tell Me When To
Go" (which celebrates the Hyphy Movement) which is burning up airwaves
and video stations across the country.

Synopsis:

Dreads, gold grills, scrapers, and white tee's are abundant in the
"hyphy" movement. In a small town called Fairfield, California (near
Vallejo in the Bay Area), "Hyphy Records" is making a killing off of
selling gold grills, music, t-shirts and anything else they can sell to
the youth of the "hyphy" generation. The owner of "Hyphy Records" is a
well known rap producer(played by super producer RICK ROCK) that rarely
visits the store and relies on his staff to take care of the day to day
operations.

The "Ya-Da-Da" Movie (from a saying in Northern California, "Yadadimeen
/ Yadadimsayin'?", a phrase popularized by Keak Da Sneak and other
rappers meaning "You know what I mean?" and "You know what I'm
sayin'?"), is an independent feature film that finds our cast living
through a weekend working at this inner city record store and all the
hi-jinx that go along with it. Gold diggers, police raids, barbecue's,
sideshows and a robbery are just a few of the mis-adventures that befall
our heroes and villains in this light hearted film that takes place in
the Bay Area.

The films stars Rude Jude (who first got famous as the wise cracking
comedian on the Jenny Jones show and now has a popular radio show on
Eminems Shade 45) as "Stacie" the under-acheiver record store worker who
is appalled with the everything "hyphy". The film also stars Bad Boy
recording artist CHOPPER and Sara Stokes of MTV's Da Band. Bay Area
underdogs and rising stars Dem Hoodstarz appear as well in thie seminal
urban comedy.

Watch for cameos from the Bay Area's elite including the Ambassador of
the Bay, E-40 as well as The Federation, JT The Bigga Figga, San Quinn,
Balance, DJ E-Rock, Big Rich, Dj Juice and every other artist that is a factor in the region.
