What do you mean by "better minutes"?
Monta plays 33.9 and Brandon plays 35.2. Monta scores 16.8 and Brandon scores 16.3. Monta averages 4.1 APG while Brandon does 4.Monta gives up 2.2 TO a game while Brandon does 2. They both average 1.2 steals a game. Brandon is a better rebounder with over 4 a game while Monta has less than 3. Heres the big number right here:3PT%. Monta is at a measly 29% while Brandon is hitting a respectable 37%. However, Monta is better at the stripe than Brandon, going 83% to B's 75%. The FG% is pretty much the same, each around 45%.
Monta may not be an official starter, but he has started 43 of the 67 games played this year, Brandon has started just 5 more than Monta, but that was becuase he was injured for over a month.
I guess I dont understand what you mean by "better minutes" when they both seem to be making the best of their playing time and are both generally the same age. Monta is 21 and Brandon is 22. Monta even has a year experience on top of Brandon.
