I don't know if somebody brought this up or not but I'm interested in finding out what yall think about this and how it affects yo opinion on rap and race. i've heard hella songs where niggas be like talkin down on white folks for one reason or another, sometimes they got they reasons and other times they should be lookin at themselves instead of blaming some white cop for taking them in, it goes both ways i guess cuz i've been pulled over for being "suspicious" and nigga i was heated. here's some quotes by some artists off the top of my head from some popular bay area artists.

"look into the eyes of a grey eyed gorilla, white cop killa" -dre dog

"white folks can't pass cuz they'll get jacked on the avenue" dre dog (something like that, not exact quote it's from "the ave"

"honkys on my dick" mac mall (listen to his earlier shit, this nigga be runnin his mouth saying hella racial slurs and shit, lol)

"get beat like a white bitch" d-moe

"all the crackers, jacka, and jackalas try to call us scavengas" d-moe

"i'm not talkin bout them blue suit crackas" d-moe

(d-moe talks about that shit 3 times in the other side of the game, from glp - straight out the lab)

"in this part of town we got jackas the wrong part of town for some mothafuckin crackas" cougnut (damn lol)

those are just a couple off the top of my head and i'm just wondering what white people think when they hear that shit. i'm confused how yall still embrace artists like dre dog after he says that shit, i use dre dog cuz that nigga has hella white fans. i guess artists realize that those white folks by the majority of rap. post yo opinions please.

yo as a white guy in the rapness.. i disregard it and chaulk it up to mentality.

i feel alot of similar discrimination from black people as well as white people. ( not all ) but alot of em in my town hate 2 see a white boy buckin an MC with the t tops down crackin some andre nikatina.

i hear the racism, then i hear people talkin bout racist white people.. theres nothing to do but dismiss the bullshit and listen to real cats. i dont talk shit bout any race, i dont claim 2 represent my white race, i just represent Dubb G and do my own thang.. sometimes it can be difficult but i pop tha colla like forty watta, and ride it out cuz thats what im here for..

i try not to trip off it too much,if i did i would miss out on alot of good shit if i did, most of it aint directed and everyday white boys like me anyway, but as far as killa tay goes,i dont blame him for talking shit bout the industry and about the man,but he uses the word "whitedevil"sometimes and thats some harsh shit.no matter who he is talking about,i dont want to hear that.but overall,it aint nothing, used to it by now,i get called a whiteboy anyway, like "damn, you let that whiteboy dunk on you!!??" get that one alot, haha

cats can say what they want. If they use it towards the everyday white cat, then that's their own ignorance and I won't support muhfuckaz like that. Cats talk about how whites are racist people, then they turn around, say some shit, then say, "Black people can't be racist"...and YES, somebody tried to tell me that once.

The way I see it, I grew up around black folks...and to be honest, I don't understand a lot of white people even though I'm white, a lot of them are anal as fuck, they need to loosen up. But if a cat comes towards ME with a white comment, fuck em, they can eat a dick cause I never did nothin' to nobody, and I don't owe anybody shit. A lot of cats are still on that "The white man owes me this and that" bullshit...but here's some REAL SPIT, ain't nobody alive right now that was alive when there was slavery and all that fucked up shit goin on. Nobody owes anybody anything these days, and I feel a lot of rap cats are holding on to that even though they know deep down none of us had anything to do with shit. I gives a fuck, my family came from Italy in the 20th Century...so I definately don't owe anybody a fuckin thing and they can kiss my ass if they think I do.....

Sorry for the speal, that's just what I think when I hear bullshit in rap music.

E-A-SKI - I GIVES A FUCK ABOUT A WHITE BOY RAPPIN...(Forget the name of the song)

That killed it from a fan standpoint for me...almost like me being latin I don't belong either...(a BIG reason I don't buy the SAUCE *Source* anymore because of the comments they made about race in rap).

Before all the music etc. I do myself...I am a FAN 1st & foremost.

Here is my opinions on that.

I think most of those disses aimed at white folk aren't even at white folk in general, but at a certain society or class of white folk that either tend to look down at the urban culture.

I think it also goes to the fact that since whitey has been in constant oppression of blackey and now blackey is dissing whitey in the songs (as how Sydal puts it) holding on to that anger and era.

I also think there is still some resentment from blackey aimed at whitey for the fact that a lot of white uncreditable artists (Vanilla Ice, The Beastie Boys, Marky Mark, Ricky J, and even Eminem sometimes) are comming up in the game and making it ok for white suburban america to listen and give them their own twisted ideas on hip hop and start to follow them without knowing how shit really goes down in the ghettos and ethnically populated urban areas where these whitey wear a backwards cap and baggy pants claiming they hip hop when they not, which is what I think accounts for most of those whitey disses. I also think that this is also tied in to that anger being held on to those who think about those slavery days in the fact that they tie this fact into the thought that "whitey stole us from africa, and now they stealing our ghetto identity".

I myself don't have a problem with it, but I would like whitey disses to be more specific since they seem rather generalized at this point without a given direction as to where these lyrical darts are pointed. I also think it's bullshit, since I don't think all white rap artists are fake or fakers, I think it's the fault of these Vanilla Ice types that the credibility of some real artists who are white have been shattered by the urban audience.

Like my boy bsleesy says "eminem is NOT gangsta"!

that shit pisses me off, i don't listen to killa tay after hearing him say shit against white people on his shit. i got plenty of black friends and the only time they throw racial slurs my way is when they're fuckin around. what do u think would happen if eminem or some white dude started rappin against black people? lol, that would be all bad. not only that NO black people would listen to him. it's an interesting topic though. me personally, i don't wanna hear songs that have that shit in it. d-moe is always saying shit like that, i hate that. fuck him. even though it's directed at white people other than me, he's saying white people, so basically these rappers are stereotyping all white people and putting them in a category.

YUUUUUP...don't ever put me in the catergory with the white fucks that fuck around and piss people off. I don't stereotype, so I don't expect people to include me in their stereotypes. When I was in 8th grade I heard a racial slur come out of my Uncle's mouth and it took all my strength not to haul off and beat the fuck outta him!! Cats like me, who stand up and fight against racism, no matter who we gotta go head up with, should not be targeted for slurs from ANY RACE!!

We need to move past the ignorance, people. As long as this ignorant shit lives, we will all be divided in some way, and it's bullshit. As long as we have rappers talkin about FUCK WHITEY, there will never be pe@ce between the two races. I remember ONE TIME I got up to bust @ a party, and these cats were lookin at me like..."This fuckin cracka"...then I spit my shit and they were lovin it...if we all appreciated other people for what they stand for, we'd be all good, but people are stuck in the 1800's and they need to get outta that mind state.

Oh yea, if it's the police and what not these cats speak on, they need to specify, don't just say WHITEY and what not. Cause I'm white, and the cops fuck with me on the daily, so it's not always a racial thing like some think...it's prally the fact that young cats run around buccin at each other all the time, so the cops stereotype young folks...not in all cases, but that could be the reason why in a lot of cases.
