KP is the deepest lyricist I have ever heard. Thats why a lot of people don't feel him. He don't even get credit from most of the Wu Generals. If you dig him you should check out T.H.U.G. Angelz, Holocoust/Warcloud, Sunz of Man, Black Market Militia, Killarmy, and The Wisemen if you haven't yet.

but you also gotta keep in mind there two diff styles & people, what makes tech n9ne, tech n9ne, is hes so versatile and can make music for everyone and reach out to a wide variety of people, thats why killer had diff sections for diff taste, techs music has always ranged from deep shit to partying to killer shit...

and yes Kp is heavily slept on, he brings that real hip hop style to the table which the majority of people consider boring, hes not the type of person to go with what everyone else is doing such as caring about the latest material or partying, he brings some deep shit to vibe too, real ass hip hop imo, people aren't used to hearing his style hes something you gotta look for and you either love it or hate it. people are used to hearing bumpin beats and popin bottles n asses, n looking good. thats what it is now days. but eh everyones diff

Tech speaking about killer in interviews was excited about his music, hes proud, hes happy. He explains the order of the songs, his thought process through out..

While I don't feel T.O. does tech justice marketing wise or anything like that, I don't think he is changing techs music at all. Tech is doing what he wants to do. Which is make dope music, that I bump daily

Again, don't try and tell me he isn't changing up his shit to appeal more to the masses. I don't give a fuck what reasons he has. He is still doing it. He has worked hard and he wants some credit and fame. I just think he is going about it the wrong way.

Travis has turned Tech into a shady version of himself. He worries about what people on the street think about him when he should be worrying about what the people that have supported his ass for the past decade think. A perfect example is he didn't wear any paint or have his hair dyed at the Fire & Ice show I went to because he wanted to grab up some of the people who were there for Paul Wall. He was painted up and had his hair done up at Strange Noize 2 because it was a totally different setting and he could be himself without having to try and lure people in. That is some punk shit to me. He should do his shit and if people like it then good and if they don't then fuck them.

Good promo and distro is one thing. Him trying to gain mainstream success is another. Fuck MTV and the radio. He already has his true fans. That's who he should be focusing on. I know a lot of people that have quit listening to him over the past couple years and I'm not just saying that to help my argument. I was disgusted when I heard Everready for the first time. Same with Killer.

I'll give him some cred on the Like Yeah vid though. I though it was gonna be a total pile of shit made to get new fans and I was wrong. It didn't matter because Travis totally fucked Tech on that. Tech would be better off doing his shit on his own. He doesn't need Travis and his wallet now.

As a whole, and especially comparatively speaking, tech is amazing. Album after album he gives us his full effort and continues to improve and tour the nation and blow everyone's minds..

I like a bunch of different artists but I recognize all of them being lazy at points, and terribly inconsistent. Also, none of them are touring constantly. Tech just steadily holds it down.
