whatever yall, shamrock was the only dude in those ice ice chambers i was feeling, the whole fucking show
john brown didnt succeed in anything but getting sonned that whole season, by everyone from persia, jamal from brand nubian, nore, serch himself, list goes on.
i dont think serch was ready to deal with the king of the burbz/ghetto revival shit every day walking down the street
shamrock just did him without the strings attached so if he blows up or not atleast he just did him

And this is the problem. VH1 went witht he safest "investment" on the show. Do you think they could really market J Brown to the masses? Unfortunetly, "back-pack" MC's dont make millions of dollars and sell platinum albums. People lilke Shamrock have the potential too.
Also, J Brown's gimmick really fucked him off. He was labeled a joke fromt he very first episode. No one took him serious until it was too damn late.

i dont think these shows attempt to market the rappers i think they attempt to get ratings, i think theyre much smarter than that

i think a person could probably look at all the rappers/musicians that came from reality shows (krazy, making the band, this show, etc) and understand none of them actually sell.

and its funny that the whole entire show was about real hip hop, lyrics and what now but then the final show its about moving the crowd and not about lyrics......
