Same man claims that the American religious right are peaceful, loving, and examples of Jesus. He lives in the US. He would know.
The bottom line is you, and people like you, are quick to instantly dismiss the "news" that we get in America while simultaneously praising stories you agree with.
Go to the international media. Read excerpts from Afghan writers. Read opinion pieces from other Middle Eastern countries.
It's just a bit simplistic that you hear one oral account and instantly "free your mind" of all the "mass media corporate propoaganda thats been placed in your head by like the Bush administration because like they're trying to cut down trees and by distracting us with racist fake stories about Muslims they keep us all occupied enough to forget about the damage to like the environment and the Western wood hens that used to have a home before they built the K Mart" - yet you refuse to double-check or read historical or regional accounts.
