THe Police jacked me and Killa Keise a year or so ago and they slammed my hard drive hella hard in the back of my trunk. On that Hard Drive i had This Tonite SHow On Here as Well as The Tonite Show With Nas EP, THe Tonite Show With Nump, And The Tonite Show With Killa Keise, The Original Tonite Show With Gully, and the production for The Tonite Show With Turf Talk along with about 2 or 300 beats. They slammed it so hard that the job to fix it said it would be close to $4000 and it they said it aint a %100 that all the content on there would be fully functionable. Fuck The Police

u guys should check into some online file storage. its unlimited storage just a monthly or yearly fee. and you dont gotta worry bout a hard drive failing. all you need is a computer with the internet and you can get those files wherever and whenever.

i remember i had a hard drive fail on me. i was lucky enough that the type of failure was able to be "fixed" way cheaper than taking it to a data recovery shop. i just swapped the circuit board with an identical hard drive, put it back in my computer and dumped the files onto another hard drive before the drive failed again.

if your hard drive is making clicking or grinding noises, that might be the hardware inside the drive scratching the platters. if theres no power (the problem my drive had), then you might be able to swap out the circuit board.

other methods are slamming the drive flat on a desk and power it up quickly to see if that works.

or put the drive in a freezer for a few hours and then fire it up.

if all this shit sounds familiar to somebody reading, wassup i need a job!!

oh yeah, the circuit board swap aint 100% guaranteed but it sure as hell beats paying a couple racks to get the data.
