Clyde Carson signed as a solo artist with Black Wall Street. Kaz Kyzah pushed his own mixtape with Big Von. Mayne Mannish is releasing his own solo mixtape next month. The Team has not come out with a single since World Premiere dropped. I haven't even heard of any tracks they've been working on. And one more note- due to terrible marketing (timing/promotion/etc), their album flopped.

Is it too much to go as far to say that The Team is officially split-up?
What evidence is there that they are still together?

I doubt they broke up in that sense. I have heard game is a nightmare to work with and is a big time asshole so I dont know how long Clyde Carson will last with BWS.

Completely Wrong,

THEY HAVE NOT BROKEN UP.

Read Kaz's thorough WCR interview, it answers everyones questions: http://www.west coast rydaz.com/features/2006/kaz_kyzah/

**************.com: So Clyde is rolling with Black Wallstreet, Game. Where does that put the Team. Will you continue as a group or are things on the back burner. Will everyone just focus on solo stuff for now?

Kaz Kyzah: We always felt like you gotta play it like a chess game. All of us under one umbrella wouldn't be the smartest move. If you wanna take over and conquer something you gotta spread out and hit seperate cities and come back together and it's all more powerful. We feel like, I got deals on line and on the table and I'm just really sorting out my options. I came home and I'm really getting in the mix again. I gotta find out who's who and what's what. This mixtape is really something just to throw out and let people get a taste of me. I never really had a solo song out on the radio. I do alot of solo work, writing other people's songs, R&B, all that. Clyde is already been in his movement for what he's doing. Like alot of people out there throwing rumors out, "The Team broke up." For one, we family. Alot of people don't know we blood. We can never break up. We all gotta go out and make our mark and then come back together and kill them. No matter who he signs with, I'm gonna support him. Same with me, no matter who I sign with it's always gonna be Team. They names tatted on me same way my names tatted on them.

Look out for Mayne too, he got his mixtape coming and deals on the line. We wanted to spread it. Same way Wu did it back in the day, same way Dips is doing it now.

**************.com: Once you guys get your solo grind out there it's gonna make the next Team album that much bigger.

Kaz Kyzah: Exactly, my fans are his fans, his fans are my fans.

Naw man, I seen Cylde like maybe 2-3 months ago, and he was wearin that black wall street chain and all that crap, I asked him so its no more team and he was like nah the team is forever, he then showed me his "the team" tat on his right arm, sayin that he just gotta make moves.

mostly I just think it comes a time when niggas need to spilt and do there own options, make there own money and what not. They will always have the option to comin back and doin a team project down the road, but its nothing new happends to alotta groups for example... (3xcrazy keak or destiny child beyonce)

clyde is the one sick one ne ways
Actually I like Kaz, I even think Kaz writes some of Clyde's shit, or it could be the other way around. But I heard Clyde spit the exact same verse as Kaz did on that Lighs, Camara, Action joint with Snoop and Game. Kaz spit that same verse word for word on track #3 of the Big Von mixtape!

i checked it out after you mentioned it and yeah, that first verse in 'bout some money' is prettymuch the same as clyde's verse in 'lights camera action'

...but that verse in boutsomemoney sounds more like clyde than kaz. i dunno its hella hard to tell the difference in their voice, but it sounds more of clyde's swagger and the other verses dont have that same slower swagger.

.. oh and i just replayed it. at the beginning doesnt it say 'ey carson where you at playa' over big von's 'go-fesssiiiiiionnal' ad-in.
