I'm sure I'm late with this thread just like I'm late with being up on this nigga Drake, but I'm asking anyway. What yall think of this cat? I tried hard as hell not to feed into all the hype that this nigga been getting, but I'm not gon lie bruh has talent. He can sing and spit. I'm not a fan of that "Best I Ever Had" track but some of the other songs on his "So Far Gone" mixtape go hard. Siccness get at me.

Yall crack me up with shit like this. What the fuck is music targeted at the 90's babies? Soulja Boy? If so, Drake is the opposite.

How about this: i keep the fonk and stick to my outdated rap styles that went out of style 12 years ago and you can buy an extra record; the one I won't.

He's getting mad hype but they said the same thing about MIMS, B.o.B., Charles Hamilton and Asher Roth and they're still new in the game

Why is it we never hear about these cats or if we do it's always one single being used as a catalyst for the rest of their future?!

i listen to VERY LITTLE mainstream rap/hip-hop...i don't really like wayne, not a big kanye fan, etc. however, from what i have heard, drake is dope...seriously. he's on a different level than all the other muthafuckers on the radio....don't write him off without giving him a listen. he's definitely my favorite mainstream rapper right now...

Really just seems to be all hype, especially with these blogs. Heard a few songs didn't like any of them. He's just another Kid Cudi to me, yeah he'll make it big because he's being backed by the right people and fans will fall for whatever they push to them, but that doesn't mean he's good.

Haha that's exactly how people are these days. Also add a skateboard to hold, not skate.
