WHAT IS IT.

THE SAC SCENE NEEDS TO BLOW UP. IVE BEEN BACK AND FORTH FROM SAC TO THE BAY AREA ALL MY LIFE AND IN THE BAY, THEY GOT THEIR SHIT GOING WITH SAN QUINN, KEAK, E-A-SKI, ETC.

THE ONLY REASON THE BAY IS MORE LIVE IS CAUSE THE LOCAL RAPPERS MAKE "RADIO FRIENDLY" TRACKS THEY PERFORM AT LOCAL CLUBS AND RADIO STATIONS PLAY ALL DAY.

FINALLY I HEARD SOME SAC RAPPERS ON THE RADIO THE OTHER NIGHT. THE FEDERATION.

SAC RAPPERS NEED TO START MAKING BIGGER MOVES INSTEAD OF MAKING RAPS ONLY FOR THE STREETS.

SAC RAPPERS GOT TALENT LIKE C-BO, COLEONE, BROTHA LYNCH, ETC.

ITS TIME!!

A side note that I noticed about the city:

Being that Sac is the capital of California, wackness is inbred. They don't want shit getting too crunk in the capital. They have that place on lockdown, therefore stifling a lot of progress with the club and hip hop scene in general. I think it starts with that and trickles down to every facet of life.

As for those types of artists making "radio friendly hits", ummmm....don't see that happening. Why would they forsake their loyal fans who support them for a few fly by night fans that will come and go as they do in the mainstream? Perhaps some new artists of that type will emerge, but I don't see the desire for radio and mainstream acceptance from those artists in any way. Many times you can make more money if you stay under the radar.

You didn't really read what I was saying...you took one sentence and by itself it's out of context.

I don't mean the rap heads or rappers....I mean the powers that be are lame. They are always on a mission to shut shit down therefore stifling the process of hip hop and creativity. The street scene relishes in the clubs and at events, etc. These things aren't encouraged in Sac because it's the capital...my folks are from there and they've been saying this for years. There is only so much you can do when your craft is constantly bogged down with red tape and police enforcment.

That ain't really tru. Sac rap is listened to by lrg groups. I know cats from LZA up on it, Iwuz like damn. It's not about radio freiendly either as much as what isn't too contervsial. Just cuz a song gots a sicc beat don't mean the rapper and or producer has sold out. The djs need to stop fakin the funk N bump some shit.

The reason why Sac aint as live:

1. The entire sac rap scene has shot to all hell.

2. The clubs get shut down at 1 am now.

3. You have youngsters making up gang sets that never existed and getting capped every night.

4. Its hot as hell, and me and everyone else out here has an attitude when it gets hot.

5. The police are on a zero tolerance kick.

What you said is true. Concerts and events are getting shut down before the doors even open lately. But the reason isn't all bureaucracy, the main reason is these little ass punks out here don't know how to act, the police get scared cause they can't handle it so the city and the owners of most of the local venues are starting to deny.

Sad.

^^^^Yea, that Treal Tv does have a lot of footage from Sac.

The main people in Federation are from Fairfield and most of them are from Fairfield, some are from Vacaville and maybe someother places.
