what someone else is doing shouldn't affect you. i think the kid taji has a future. he needs some people around him giving direction to what he's trying to do. not yes men. i don't know his situation but from what i've seen artists in the bay area like surrounding themselves with these kinda people. put a hit record together and get it out to the dj's, radiostations, etc all over. not just on a myspace and definately not just here. unfortunately music is an aquired taste, and if it sells, quite frankly it sells. im not a gimmick supporter and can feel your frustration. but in the end its about the change someone brings to the game that can open them doors. when i say change i mean in approach from all aspects.

Im in the bay now and its been hard as fuck to network with bay cats. cats is charging krazy prices and the whole nine. Aint nothing wrong with charging but shit man I cam from my state out hear cause I wanted to fuck with yall scene and see where things might go. Plus I was raised on bay music since knee high so this was the first place I wanted start at. I been all up and down this coast and local cats in L.A,Seattle,Tacoma,P.O,Daygo, and Alaska all show love. It aint like that out hear its more on a pay me or pay me no attention basis. I can say the only cat I meet that was hella coo and wonted to network was jacka when I first moved out hear.

you didn't know! yeah, it is a terrible thing what your speaking. its too bad because in order to get love you gotta spread love. but i can honestly say not everone's like that. it's funny because once cats get put on, they start trying to charge some riduculous money for a sub-par verse, but they just do what they see, and you see what we have for a music business in the bay area. its about the paper, im aware of that, but in the end ain't no one getting the bread and meat they should. its crumbs for a verse here and verse their. thinking about today and fuck tommorrow mentality.

Yah know! But its always been love with me. Every city I go every state I go I show love. There are things like studio time,promotion,and pressing that you probably wouldn't get showed no love on just for the fact that shits in demand in this industry. Production and verses for a lot of cats on this coast should be going for dame near nothing if you ask me. Now I can only speak for cats that got it meaning dope artist with a hungry ass grind cause there is a lot of garbage artist also. Im a keep it pushing cause I know my time is coming wit love or no love im a get my shine.

...i logged on their myspace and they were charging $80 to post a bulletin about your music then
