The last time the Raiders drafted a qb in the first round was in 81. So I don't expect them to pick one up in the draft. They'll probably pick up Adrian Peterson or trade down. The Raiders will get a qb and reshape the o-line in free agency.

Thank you Raiders.

This is the week of the 7th anniversary of Oakland putting the Seahawks into the playoffs by beating KC at Arrowhead, Rich Gannon to Rickey Dudley a few times in OT to set up the game winning FG.

I REMEMBER THAT I WASNT TOO BOTHERED THAT THE RAIDERS HELPED THE SEAHAWKS.IT WAS OK.FUCK THE CHIEFS,
Yep Seahawk fans understand that, we were the team that had been in the division the shortest, we were the team that had enjoyed the least amount of success, we were the team that was nobody's rival & everybody's whipping boy save for a few years in the mid 80s.

^That^ is the exact reason why when it came time for realignment, the Hawks were the ones to get bounced so they could keep those older KC-OAK-DEN & even SD rivalries intact.

It's better to be 2-14 and get the first pick then be 3-13 or 4-12 and still suck ass but not have the chance to get a franchise player
Problem is I dont see a deadlock #1 overall pick like Bush SHOULDVE been last year. I wouldn't mind seeing us trade down a couple spots and get an extra pick or two.

That would be the smart move, but Al is well...Al

AP, y'all need a running back and he looked good lastnight.

Who knows, this is the first time the team has had the #1 overall pick so Im curious to see how they handle it considering there are so many holes on offense. AP would be sweet but I wouldn't mind getting Lynch and a QB too if we trade down.

Oakland, first anf foremost, needs help upfront. Their OL looked like a screen door this year. After the debacle of Rob Gallery, you would think they would stay away from drafting any OL's in the first round.

They need to see who is available in the offseason and get some vets on that line that are at least descent. I think they should grab a RB in the first to maybe take some pressure of the QB. As AC said, Marshawn is there and is a Reggie-Bush type back. Adrian Peterson is a beast, but is injury prone.

But who knows, Calvin Johnson is slated to be the No. 1 pick IF he decided to forego his senior year. The Raiders may just wanna pick him, although I think it would be a mistake.

^^I don't think the D needs any work. They just gotta make sure they keep as many defensive players as possible. Their offense needs major work. They need a QB, a line, a RB.. Receivers who actually wanna play in Oakland..
