dont get it wrong i grew up on too short too and my dad taught me never to fall in love while playing it...but i also saw gangstarr on the television...and xclan...
berner you barely know about rap music man....you prolly been in the rap game no longer than 5 years if that....i dont know why you tryna come across cocky when your rapping is hella elementary...i think you can put together a slap but your not a good rapper..dont hide behind a rack

what you should do is humble yourself man and listen to some of these niggas from the 80s that paved the way for you to even have a rap career...alot of it is on some dboy shit or some hardcore shit...if youve never heard of epmd im almost scared of what else you might not have heard of...audio two..just-ice,kool g. rap..masta ace...you probably hear these beats and dont even realize its a shout out to old school rap....

if you gonna call yourself a rapper you need to study where rap came from and the originators that paved the way for your ass to even be able to make money offa music...

Im goin to just be honest right now. Berner, stop postin. The fact you DONT know who EPMD is killin you on this thread. So what you grew up on other music? I was born in 84' and I knew who EPMD was by 1995. Sorry you came up on music one year later, but you should know who EPMD is. That argument is KILLIN you right now. Just stop posting.
