Rap artist shoots video at Lincoln Preparatory Academy
KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Two popular Kansas City rappers used Lincoln College Preparatory Academy , located at 2111 Woodland Ave., to shoot their latest rap music video.
The music video, entitled “For the MO,” includes graphic images, profanity and references to gangs. It is an image some believe the Kansas City Missouri School District should not have allowed to be portrayed of their schools.
The song is performed by rapper The Popper and features Tech N9ne.
The district spokesperson, Andre Riley, told NBC Action News that anyone can request to rent space at one of their facilities, if they fill out an application, pay the fees, and fulfill the insurance requirements. Riley said the applications are approved on a case by case basis, but they did not know that a uniformed district security guard would be featured in the video.
The music video was posted on YouTube.com, but it is no longer public. It has been set to private by the rappers, as seen below. However, you can see clips of the video by clicking on the video above.
