^^^ lol, I know you're playin, but I sure hope no Bay vs South beef starts. Let the East Beef with the South. We just don't have the numbers in the Bay to go against Houston, Atl, N.O., Memphis, etc. It would be courtains for the Bay if that happened.
The Bay is movin up slowly, but as long as dudes like Turf Talk, Clyde Carson, Balance, etc get a chance to shine in addition to those mentioned above it will be all good.

if more artists had their new records ready to coincide with ghetto report card, so much more could be happening.
short has a hot single, but no cd. wakin em up by turf will fall off way before he gets his CD out, a song that (rides off tell me when to go's sound but) has a better bay feel to it.
40's second single was garbage; tried way too hard to pander to club shit. completely lost everything "hyphy." what middle class white teen remembers hyphy now?
where's fab's new record? turf talk? two cats who really do embody the bay got nothing.
if 40 dropped ghetto report card, and a month or so later fabby, then a few weeks later turf's new cd, with the same amount of hype, maybe it would work. too bad fabby's gotta work all by himself to get his CD out, i bet thizz has nothing to give to him.
bay artists are just lazy. we got metros and chirpers months ago in anticipation for the yellow bus ryder, and we're stilllll waiting for it. a good lead single was wasted.

real good artists like balance will sadly never get a chance to shine with cookie cutter and marketable crap like the a'z and the pack in their way.
