hue also brought in giordano, curry and lito sheppard. all have played well, having to step in right away. the only move I didn't like was letting hagan go. the idea that we should have already brought in somebody to be GM, is completely stupid. that's not a move you make in the middle of the season. you can't talk to personnel from other teams while the season is still going on.

this is why I don't want moore returning punts. kickoffs are one thing, but punts just seem a lot more dangerous to me. so why not have one of the many other speedy players on our team handle it?

Moore missed last week’s game with a foot injury, at least that’s what the injury report said. Moore said he hurt his ankle in the Vikings game two weeks ago.

“(A Vikings player) just landed on it during a punt return,” Moore said. “He came from behind and tackled me and landed on my ankle.”
we need this guy healthy and on the field, not getting injured on special teams. he's the future of our team at that position, way too valuable to have him risking injury on punt returns.

so your saying we dont need a GM and the head coach should be making those calls. GTFO with that bull.. Delusional
what the hell are you talking about? we can't hire a GM, because you can't talk to other team's personnel while the season is still ongoing. or should they go after somebody outside of the nfl that's completely unqualified for the job? yeah, that makes plenty of sense.

right now the guy they seem to have in mind works for the packers. ron wolf is the one that is recommending him. we can't even ask the guy if he wants the job until the packers play their last game. is all this really new to you? have you ever heard of a GM being hired midseason?

Only the Raiders would have their dictator Al Davis die and let the next coach/gm step right in in Hue Jackson.. were stuck in the 70's in a league thats changing every day. We need some structure and vision for the future.. A coach being allowed to do a deal like the one he pulled off is crazy.. I like Carson so far but wtf...

We need to go out on Sunday and physically dominate the Dolphins like we should
they're gonna hire a GM after the season, but like others said... we couldn't hire someone midseason to step in right away. that would be dumb

is bush really worth the average salary of the top 5 rb's in the league?
no i think bush is worth more than he is making.. and im not sure if he has the wind to be an everydown back for an entire season. he is doing the job tho.. but i think if him and dmc share snaps then the overall production and games won will be worth him staying.. im mean money talks but he can play 6-7 years in decent health at 2-4 mill potential net 20 mill or play 3-5 years being an every down back and retired with no legs with 10 mill

well that won't exactly be as bad as it's been in past years and that's only under the condition that bush doesn't sign a new contract with us. teams haven't been so quick to hand out big contracts to running backs recently, so bush might not get the offers he's expecting from other teams and end up staying anyway.

The collective bargaining agreement between the league and the NFL Players Association includes a new formula for the franchise tag, and league sources have said those tags will be considerably lower this offseason than in years past.

it's understandable that people don't know about it. teams aren't so willing to part with two first rounders, on a guy that won't even sign a contract with his own team. but it's the same as putting a tender on a restricted free agent. the players were actually trying to get rid of the franchise tag in the negotiations, but they had to concede on that one.

I just investigated it. There's two types of franchise tags, exclusive and non exclusive. Non exclusive franchised players can negotiate with other teams and if their team doesn't match it they get 2 first rounders. I guess I'm dumb. Not used to bein wrong haha
