I prefer mitchell and ness because they keep shit simple. I don't need my hats to have some crazy design on it, all a hat needs is the emblem and it should be right in the center. throwback gear>the new school shit.

my laker hats are clean too:

I almost copped one like the one on the bottom but it was the bulls color way, red with the black rim.

I need a Laker hat but I can't imagine wearing all that gold or purple.

Founds this Chinese website with cheap ass fitted hats. Bought 2 Raider hats shipped for $40.
They look pretty good except some writing on the back of one of the hats is unreadable.
But it looks like it was drop kicked all the way here. The box was fucked up and it bent up the hats. I'm still gonna rock it though, fuck it.

I guess there's no big Raiders news over the past few days, since all we're talking about is hats, lol

I don't wear hats, ever... therefore I have no Raiders hats... except for a Raiders beanie. I have one of those

Raiders' goal Sunday: Not let Vikings' Peterson run wild

By Jerry McDonald

A play Kamerion Wimbley would rather forget was cued up at a recent Raiders' defensive meeting.

It was tape of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson breaking off a 64-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of a 34-20 win over Wimbley's Cleveland Browns in the 2009 season opener.

"He just threw a couple of defensive backs aside," Wimbley said. "It was a phenomenal run."

Peterson, the NFL's fifth-leading rusher with 846 yards, plays against the Raiders for the first time Sunday at Mall of America Field. The last time the Raiders played the Vikings in the regular season in November of 2007, Peterson was sidelined with a knee injury.

"I'm pretty pumped up to play against these guys," Peterson said Wednesday in conference call with Bay Area media.

How the Raiders fare against Peterson will go a long way toward maintaining or building on their one-game lead in the AFC West. The Raiders are ranked 25th in the NFL against the run, a dubious ranking built largely on their performance in defeat.

The Raiders have given up 837 yards on the ground (209.3 yards per game) with opponents averaging 6.3 yards per carry with eight rushing touchdowns in their four losses.

In Oakland's five wins, the Raiders have surrendered just 348 yards (69.6 yards per game) and 3.5 yards per carry with a single rushing touchdown -- a 1-yard sneak by the Jets' Mark Sanchez in Week 3.

"They're playing outstanding on defense as far as what I've seen, and I strive to play well against good defenses," Peterson said. "Just growing up and watching the Raiders, hearing about how great their defense was, and they're pretty much back to their old ways."

At 6-foot-1, 217 pounds, Peterson has the speed to break away from defenders, the elusiveness to make them miss and the power to break tackles and finish off runs.

Since breaking in as the No. 7 overall pick in 2007 (Oakland took JaMarcus Russell No. 1 that season), Peterson leads all NFL running backs with 6,628 yards and 62 touchdowns.

It's clear Raiders coach Hue Jackson likes his team's chances against rookie quarterback Christian Ponder if it can keep Peterson relatively under control.

"The No. 1 guy on their offensive football team obviously is Adrian Peterson," Jackson said. "That's where it starts for them and that's where it ends for them on offense. That's a huge advantage for them when you have a guy like him who can run the ball."

Raiders defensive tackle Tommy Kelly puts Peterson at the top of the list of opposing runners.

"He can get the 1-yarder and push the pile, he can take it the distance," Kelly said. "He has the speed to get to the edge, but that ain't his thing. He just wants the opportunity to get downhill. You know they're going to run the ball so you'll get the opportunity to hit him."

Minnesota coach Leslie Frazier sees opponents shy away from Peterson on a weekly basis rather than subject themselves to the punishment.

"I mean, there are times that defenders don't really want to tackle Adrian Peterson," Frazier said. "They'll hope someone else gets in the way before they get to him. He strikes fear in opposing defenders the way he runs."

Peterson doesn't shy away from putting himself at the top of the list of NFL runners, either.

"Others make that judgment, but I definitely consider myself that, too," Peterson said. "In order to be the best to ever play, you have to believe it first."

Free safety Michael Huff's memory of playing against Peterson is not a pleasant one. He remembers Peterson running for "about 270 on us as a true freshman" when Oklahoma beat Texas 12-0.

Peterson's yardage total that day was actually 225 yards (on 32 carries) but the damage inflicted was considerable.

"He's the same guy," Huff said. "One guy will never tackle him. You've got to gang tackle him. That's the key. You've got to have two or three guys to tackle him. We've got to swarm."

if we hold AP under 100 yards, we win. if he gets to 150 or more, we lose. the defense needs to slow him down. ponder's mobility is probably going to give us trouble too. no doubt they're going to throw in some draw plays for him after what tebow did.

Run DMC looking to miss the vikings game, bush got a tough job ahead of him. AP giving props to DMC is big, i feel they play the same style, both fast quick but powerful.

Looks like our perennial pro bowlers are making strides to keep it consistent. I think one of our o-line deserves a look at being one also.

Darren McFadden watched part of practice Wednesday, standing on his own two feet.
Where the Raiders' star running back is concerned, that rates as news, although it doesn't make him a likely participant Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

"I saw Darren McFadden without a boot, standing out here with his teammates today for the first time in a long time," Raiders coach Hue Jackson said. "To me, that's huge progress. I'll see our medical people to find out exactly where that is."

Given that McFadden has been out since suffering the injury in the Oct. 23 game against Kansas City and that Wednesday was the first time he even watched from the sideline, chances are he will miss his third consecutive game.

Also missing practice was wide receiver Jacoby Ford, out with an injury to his left foot suffered while catching a 41-yard pass in the first quarter of the Raiders' win in San Diego on Nov. 10.
The Raiders running game has remained productive despite McFadden having been the NFL's leading rusher at the time of his injury. Over the past three games, Michael Bush has averaged 117.3 yards.

The Vikings are one of the NFL's better teams defending the run, giving up just 3.7 yards per carry and ranked sixth in yards per game (93.9). They haven't allowed a 100-yard rusher this season and have had surrendered 100 yards to an opposing runner only six times since 2006.

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said he doesn't spend a lot of time watching or admiring other running backs, the exception being McFadden.

"There are not too many guys that I watch or I'm excited to watch, but he's one of those guys," Peterson told Bay Area media by conference call. "He's a north-and-south player, great speed, quick feet, athletic, catches the ball well. Just like me, I'm sure there are things he would love to improve on, but outside of that, he's a guy I respect, and I like the way he runs the ball. I can't say that about a lot of other backs."

Those who didn't participate in practice along with McFadden and Ford were fullback Manase Tonga (knee), quarterback Jason Campbell (collarbone), place-kicker Sebastian Janikowski (hamstring), defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee) and cornerback Chris Johnson (groin, hamstring).

Listed as limited were center Samson Satele (knee), cornerback Chimdi Chekwa (hamstring), cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke (hamstring), free safety Michael Huff (ankle), safety Mike Mitchell (ankle) and safety Matt Giordano (neck).

Huff, who missed the Chargers game, said he feels good to go after jumping rope and playing with kids at an NFL Play 60 function at Longfellow School in San Francisco on Tuesday along with teammates Tyvon Branch, Jerome Boyd and Van Dyke.

On behalf of the program, which promotes the importance of exercise and good health, Huff and his teammates presented a $10,000 grant to the school.

He has been nursing an ankle injury almost all season, and the Thursday date for the Chargers game didn't give him enough time to get ready.

Janikowski and punter Shane Lechler are leading their respective positions in the fan vote for the Pro Bowl.

I guess I'm gonna have to get some legit ones. I was trying to get 4 hats for the price of one plus shipping.
