nah, you're right about that one. I really thought he would be back for the charger game. if it wasn't for the bye week, he'd have missed 3 games already. 4 if you count the chiefs game when he went down in the 1st quarter. it's going to be a really tough decision to make. I guess there is the slim possibility of mcfadden taking a pay cut and making bush the starter.
i dont see mcfadden going anywhere and like cut-throat said people wouldnt wanna give us what we want out of mcfadden. i sure as hell would be mad if he left for anything over a 2nd rounder, i would be mad if he left for even a 2nd rounder.
bush is good, reliable and a tank, but like its been stated we dont know how he will fare during a 16 week season as a a starter. we somehow got to keep them both though if not fuck it lets find a fullback and have reece mode take over bush's role

DMac would have rushed for 200+ agaist SD and took a couple of those big Bush runs to the house. Like I said I love DMac and would rather keep them both. I don't see it happening, hopefully Hue can figure that one out. DMac is worth a first rounder or a quality, quality player, hatred aside.
T. Jones never gets a chance to get in the flow of the game. He comes in for a play here and there. The run sets up a bunch of stuff, like the screen pass. T. Jones would take those to the house too. He needs a little more playing time though for those to work because they need to be set-up.
CP makes this team a real threat now offensively. His accuracy on the big plays are what we have been missing. He reads defenses and audibles at the line of scrimmage. Mix that with our WR's and it can get intersting. No more bringing 8 in the box. I'm sold on Palmer and was when I seen him play against the Chiefs. It is just a matter of working out the rust. He has another 8 days to get ready for Minnesota. He only threw 20 passes against SD and completed 14. He makes them count though. The one to Ford was a little short or he would have went for another TD.
