Russell's problem is he thinks he could just get by on having a strong arm like he did in college. He doesn't want to put in the work that it takes to become a successful QB in the NFL.

we should try to convert him to a more natural position, like o-line or tight end, maybe de-line.

let him play special teams until he shows some sort of desire or motivation.


itd be more entertaining watching him get bodied without the ball in his hands costing us games

Oakland Raiders defensive lineman Richard Seymour is prone to mood swings. One week he thinks his team has playoff potential, and the next . . . well, the next Seymour thinks his team is just a wee bit short of playoff caliber.

After insisting last week that the Raiders will make the playoffs this year, Seymour dramatically toned down his rhetoric following a 38-0 defeat to the Jets.

"I don't think we could've beat an Oakland high school team," USA Today quotes Seymour saying after the loss to the Jets.

Seymour noted that "Playing from behind isn't our strong suit," which leaves open the question of what is the Raiders' strong suit. Whatever it is, the Raiders didn't show it off on Sunday, when Seymour's statement that they couldn't beat a high school team didn't look like that big of an exaggeration.

I need to get one of them jackets that Al got on they look pretty hard. ^^^^Man up and box tonight on that Fight Night Round 4 and quit running like a wuss...

LOL, do you know how many people have told me that? I'm not that kind of dude to tell you the truth. I don't jump ship in the middle of the season and then start liking another team because they're winning. I like the Raiders mayne.... Gotta ride it out bro.

My grandma made me laugh so hard last night. She had some good unintentional insight on the team too and told me to be patient.

I told her how I had gone to the game Sunday. She had heard the score and we were talking about the game. I mentioned how everybody cant wait til Al dies. She said "Al Davis. jeeesh, they still let that criminal run the show. He's nothing but a crook. But he does love the Raiders. I dont blame fans for wanting him dead. He was crazy in the 1960's." LOL LOL LOL I was dieing my grandma is really soft spoken and this cracked me up.

Thats coming from a woman who has probably been to over 100 Raider Games in here life.
