Warriors coach Don Nelson said Anthony Randolph "went from one of the laziest players I've ever had to one of the hardest workers."
Nellie has really warmed up to Randolph after some tense moments last season, and the positive vibes support our summer-long promotion of Randolph.

Warriors coach Don Nelson says he'll work for Golden State for free once his contract expires in 2011-2012.
"It will cost the team nothing," Nelson said. "Whatever it is. If it's coaching, I'd do that. Carrying bags, whatever. But I would give them one year at the end of this to say 'Thanks.'" Nellie is entering the first season of a two-year, $12 million extension.

Get rid of Jackson. My take on it is that I would never want someone on my squad who didn't want to be here.

We don't need him or his slow motion drives to the hoop, and definitely not his ill advised 3's. We have a decent young nucleus, and I don't think we are anywhere near a contender, so might as well build around them and get rid of Jack.

damn warriors fans are hating on S-Jax right now...im thinking Jackson was told he was gonna have a reduced role and that was his reaction to it...
Im a fan of S - Jax and dont want to lose him.....But if he dosent want to be here than he's gotta go....There is nothing worse than an unmotivated player (with the exception of Mike Crabtree).......I dont want to see him go, but if dosent wanna stay than he needs to do it movin...

well here we go...

Warriors swingman Stephen Jackson repeated his trade request during media day on Monday.
Jackson has already been fined $25,000 for publicly asking to be traded, though he's covered now under some form of 'double jeopardy'. The Warriors have said only that they expect him to perform as usual, and that he will remain a team captain.

Monta Says He Can't Play With Curry

Monta Ellis does not believe he can share the floor with Stephen Curry.

"Us together? No," Ellis said. "Can't. We just can't. ... Just can't."

Ellis was then asked by a member of the media if he understands that the Warriors do believe the guards can play together.

"They say you can?" Ellis repeated. "They say you can ... but you can't. I just want to win and you're not going to win that way."
