i doubt any of the Ellis article is legit. it says one NBA executive "believes" that Monta is unhappy and that other agents "seem" to have heard similar things. i bet ONE person got their facts twisted and spun this whole situation into a rumor. also, i know somebody who is close with Monta's cousin that lives with him and he said that Monta really wants to stay in the Bay. i wouldnt worry about all these rumors...most of it is just bullshit anyway

http://realgm.net/src_wiretap_archives/59879/20090617/s_jax_adds_25_pounds_of_muscle/

Warriors forward Stephen Jackson has been working hard this offseason, already having packed 25 pounds of muscle on his frame.

"I got some news for ya, I got on the scale today, I weighed 240," Jackson told KNBR with Fitz and Brooks.

" ... I still look the same as when the season ended. I've been eating good, I've been running a lot, and shooting 500 shots a day, so, I've been working out. I got on the scale and I was kinda scared because I didn't think I weighed that much, because when I was working out the day before, I was moving real good, I dunked a couple times, I'm moving like I normally move. So, I was wondering, 'How am I 240 and I still feel the same?' I plan on playing at around 230, 225, but the way I feel now, I feel great."

^^^Kawakami stirs up hella shit, hes been saying this monta bullshit for MONTHS
yeup, Kawakami been saying shit about Monta since he got injured. there was a radio interview where Riley was asked about the Monta situation and he said Monta doesnt care if they draft a point guard.

Riley: "If I draft a point guard, where's your head gonna be?"

Monta: "I'm gonna be fine...I'm just a player...put me at 1, put me at 2...I'll do the job you need me to do"

the whole Riley interview is interesting. check out here if yall got some time...it should be the 3rd or 4th file titled "Larry Riley on KNBR"

Kawakami is good in my book. Isn't he the one who blew the whistle on the PR guy who was posting on the warrior message board?
please sober up, kawakami is a fucking drama queen and gets attention by blogging about bullshit. i cant stand anytime i hear according to tim kawakami, once i hear that i stop listening. also i dont get what is so big about a guy in the warriors pr office posting on a message board. would it be weird for someone at nike to post on a nike forum and point out positive aspects of their company. sorry for the rant but any kakwakami mention gets me pissed.
