USA played good football through the tournament. I was never bored watching them and if they was to loose it was good it was to a African team. I'm not impressed by Ghana or they are not my favs or nothing (don't care for em) I rather seen Ivory or Nigeria, but for African football and football in general its good they won.

Well played USA, you did what you could.

Yeah.. The ref has probably seen the goal in halftime. So i swear , if Lahm or anyone else in Germany just farts in their own box, England will get a penalty.
Right or wrong? I dont know but he stole 1 goal already and want to make this right..

I said this from the start of the tournament that England would not make it, alof of people said I was crazy but it's like I said. They got great players but it's just something that makes that they can't make it when it really is time to.

reason I say it's not over until the FLS, because I seen many games where this has been the case.

Holy fuckin shit. I don't even care if we advance after this game, but We humiliated those fuckin cocky English cunts. FEELS GOOD MAN !!!!!!!!!!!! Even had payback for the Wembley goal. Fact is, England never really won a WC, and probably is not going to in the near future!!!!!!!!!

GO DEUTSCHLAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Germany killed it, tactically outplayed, outclassed, outran, outspirited, outeverything.

Ozil going for that ball just summed up Germany TBH.

England shown up for what they are, overrated. You cant play gerrard on the left he is a central midfielder you need a fast winger who can dribble and beat opponents with skill/speed like Ozil. Rooney had a horrible game as well as the rest of their team in defence they couldn't cope and the Klose goal lol throughball from the keeper what the fuck ahahah so pathetic!!!!!

Alot of people would give Ozil or Muller man of the match, but for me I'd give it to Neuer. He make some key saves and after some shaky things he came through and was solid.

Germany were great. What a game. Even if the ref was an idiot when England scored , you cant take anything away from the germans , they deserved the win. Their counter-attacks are so fast ! Let's see if Mexico can pull it off against Argentine .. Great games today!

Congratulations to Germany for the working youth system and for having the balls to do away with the pragmatic football of the old that wasn't winning anything anymore and switching to a more modern version of the game! Exactly what England hasn't been able to do (and there football of old wasn't even winning to begin with).

I still think they are unlikely to win it all because they have too many young and unexperienced players at key positions and will be exposed against Brazil and Spain, but the future looks bright for them

@ThaG: If we don't win the cup this year, we will be among the strongest contenders in Brazil in 2014. No doubt about that. The team will be even better and not beyond their prime, as most players will still be under 30. You're right though...teams like Brazil or Spain, even Argentina are on a whole different level than England and a little ahead of us, as of now. Don't care about that today though cause a win against England is as sweet as the title. It shows again how overrated the EPL is and that its success is money driven and mostly relies on top stars from foreign countries. Quite funny since England has had so many fancy youth academies for such a long time, but they rather spend billions on foreign stars instead of giving their own youth a chance.

And I don't know if you remember the guy, but Matthias Sammer deserves the most credit for our recent development, especially the success of the U21 and above teams. He's been in charge of the youth system for some time now and it is finally paying off.

Of course I remember him. And it is indeed working very very well. But as I said a long time ago in this thread, the problem is the football academies themselves - they may have plenty of fancy ones in England, but if you put 7-year old kids in boots on the big pitch, which is what they do there, you will end up with players like Lampard and Gerard, who can run fast, kick the ball very hard, but can't pass, don't have any geometric vision of the game and don't have a close control of the ball. The big difference today was that Germany had Ozil and Khedira while, England didn't.

that was the worst robbery ive ever seen. If the game was tied the outcome would have be different.
You mean England would have won that game? You gotta be kidding me. We outclassed them and even English experts like Shearer and Lineker admitted this. Don't matter if they draw or not, Germany was just fresher, quicker more agile and creative. This English team is just way too old, too slow, too hyped by their own media to amount to anything. Just like Italia.

That non-goal by Lampard wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game anyway. The German's completely outclassed them Blokes today.....

If you watch the replay, the ref was about 20 yards back from the net and almost perfect alignment with Neuer and the ball was right behind Neuer. When Neuer jumped and fell back down, he hit the ground at almost the exact same time the ball bounced in the net. I don't think the ref could judge the depth properly with Neuer in the way, and decided to rule no goal. He must not have been 100% sure that it was in the net. It's a good decision and I feel he made the right call....It's too difficult to tell during live play. When I was watching in real time, I didn't think it was a goal because of the camera angle. Watching the replays, its blatantly obvious..

As far as adding goal judges behind the net at each end of the field, I don't feel its necessary. The game has been played like this for so long, and I enjoy the controversy that sometimes occurs after games. It makes things interesting.....I say keep it the way it is, but I'm sure FIFA will adopt a policy for the next world cup...
