I am getting seriously frustrated watching Alexis Sanchez. He seems to be the epitome of every negative stereotype of the player with the tricks and the stepover who however hurts his team with his lack of basic football intelligence.
Really? Every Chilean attack has come thru Sanchez. I watch him every week in Serie A and I've never been as impressed by him as I am at the WC. Chile's finishing as a team has been pretty weak but they are outplaying their opponents so far (although that red card for Behrami was horse shit I'd like to see how that game could have played out 11v11)
bullshit you obviously didnt see Ronaldo setup some goals today and and some good passes that shots just happen to not be struck good enough. Messi is on the best team in the world in Barcelona so its easy to get goals and setup goals on that team, i said before that once the international play comes around the real will show
Are you serious man? Ronaldo had a good game today but he only really turned it on when they were up by a couple goals. Look up how long it has been since Ronaldo scored an international goal before today. He got matched or some could say outshined by Tiago, a Juventus reject who plays for Atletico now and doesn't even always start.
Messi had a hand in all three goals for Argentina against SK. And if you watch his goals on Barca a lot, probably half, are pretty much solo acts. I agree that he typically isn't that impressive for Argentina but the first two group stage games he's been man of the match.
I can do stats too. Ronaldo has 23 goals from 74 int'l appeararnces. That means he gets a goal every 3.4 games for Portugal. They both are natural wingers.... Play essentially the same position.
The best team in the world is Inter Milan as a matter of fact, since they won the Champions League.
I disagree.... I think Barca is still a better team even though Inter beat them. But thats a whole other can of worms that doesn't belong in this thread
