You can't go through the middle is the other team is playing with 8 defenders.

They need width but wing play has been nonexistent

Alternatively, they can try some good shots from outside the box, but for this to happen Kaka needs to wake up.

For situations like this Ronaldinho and his ability to dribble, draw fouls and take them would have been priceless
