9pm friday night cold as fuck. Gonna stay in with hot chocolate tonight and have a few mates over for the games later. Tomorrow I will be at the pub with lots of mates drinking and watching the other games so I need my rest 
I think a bet on every game is good.
I am good at making profit from gambling on sports especially on football. My theory is this for the world cup. 3 bets a day = 3 games, 2 good value bets and 1 safe bet that can get you your money back if you don't win on the value bets.
For example, my total goals 4.5+ and Hernandez first scorer are realistic and good value, Uraguay head to head win is safe for me and I can win my money back with a slight profit.
The reason for 4.5 goals total in the first game is because I believe SA can't resist the urge to go forward when they have the home crowd behind them, they will score maybe 2-3 goals but will get exposed at the back by mexico who are more than capable. Mex are a possession based team and SA can hit them fast on the counter,so all this I believe will have a good solid match for the first game.
Hernandez is a little beast and I expect him or Mbela(sp?) for SA to get the first goal as they are favourites.
Uraguay over France as France are in shambles with the team, coach and nation divided. Nation hates coach, players upset that Henry is not starting, causing a divide, players generally upset with coach over choices and they view him as a nazi, all is not well in the France camp. Lack of France team unity will give Uraguay a win here with Forlan in beast form. However Uraguay arriving to SA late and not adjusting might cause them problems, that and France are all class players so I wouldn't be suprised if France win either.

It's the press. In the German newspapers they write about how the Australians talk about they will win and that our goalkeepers suck etc., so it's prolly the other way around in Australia to get the people hyped.

Haha, don't get mad Syco. I'm not a fuckin nazi. And as far as i know, Germany been giving Australia respect since it's been known that we play you guys at the WC. Everyone keeps on talking about how physical and structured they play. Maybe Australian TV wants to portray Germany like some cocky shitheads in order to build up tension in your country, but believe me NO ONE here underestimates Australia.
Still, we are Germany. We have really high ambitions. We want to win this shit. If you can't beat Australia, how you gonna be Spain or Brazil? Germany being all scared to face Australia just doesn't make sense. We have a lot of respect for Australian Football, but we also know that we MUST win the first game. Can't wait for Sunday. And even if we will kick your asses, i hope you make 2nd place in the group.

^^That might be because we haven't had such a talented/young team in ages. Too bad talent alone isn't enough to win a WC. All the press here is like "We know we have a lot of talented players, but we don't exactly know where we at right now", like what we are really capable off. No one really knows, which is also to our advantage imo.

The media here is only reporting what Ballack (about Harry) and Metersacker (calling us minnows) have said and also in the German press conference not many questions were asked about the game more in the line of 'how is the weather' ect so it is taken as an insult.
Like I said before the Germany game is very worrying for us, we are confdident we can play well and push you guys, however we can give too many fouls and get too physical plus if we concede early it will hurt as the gameplan is to sit back and absorb as much as possible, realistically, we are looking for a win because we don't care who we face, we play to win and are very competetive by nature, but a draw or a loss with a low goal difference won't be the worst outcome.

for me, it always annoys me when they lip-sync like that....it's usually done at big events like this, the olympics, etc.....Pretty underwhelming ceremonies though. The building was over half empty (they blamed it on traffic problems), and quite a few of the performers looked lost.....I thought alicia keys was supposed to perform, but they had R Kelly and several african performers..
