That's the biggest win the last ten years, but team USA has only been at least decent since after 1994. Before that, Mexico literally took shits on the team.
The funny part to me is USA could not do shit in the WC ever, and as long as they do a little better than Mexico they're happy. What kinda shit is that? I'll support them both unless they face each other...

yeah ill admit that wound has yet fully heal. but every dog has his day. and if they face in this tourney, it will not be the same as 8 years ago. soccer is deeply embedded in mexican culture. mexicans right now cant stop thinking about this world cup...while sadly for team usa, the people who should be supporting them are talking more about kobe and the lakers, or stephen strasburg then the world cup. team usa will have their time years from now when america is ready...but for now the mexicans are due for a big showing! si se puede!!!!

And there it is again, you guys can't admit that the USA is as good or better then mexico right now just becuase its the main sport in the country. I repeat, cause I hear that shit all the time "its deeply embedded in our country and blood, blah blah blah, thats why we will do better" and thats horse shit... and you know it... I was just talking to my friend is was born and raised in Honduras and we actually think Mexico is a good side, they just are unrealstic.. Mexico fans think they should be mentioned with the Elite teams in the world, just because "its embedded in our culture and blood" naw, figure it out mexico, this aint 30 years ago when you guys dominated CONCACAF.

You know it's true. Read articles on yahoo to see the US Bias I'm talking about. If they don't do well, they always fall back on "well at least we did better than Mexico." And when Mexico does well, it's because "it's embedded in their country and blood, blah blah blah."

Not many Americans I know ever root for Spain or Portugal or the other favorites, but like I said, don't watch much soccer so it could be true. In any case, GO USA, on the flipside, if the US isn't going all the way, Surprise! I'll back YOU Mexico! I love my mexican beer, tequila, my mexican food, my mexican vacations, El Rey @ 3a.m. when Im drunk as fuck, and my Mexican neighborhood. I love stirring it up in the Mission, and even though Im white, I love beating up and picking on white hipsters. Much more in common with my Latino brothers and sisters. And lastly...
