They got what? 200 yards passing against a shitty team...I guess you can call that development but if any other team can why say that? Unless you mean the rushing game.. (Which is also nothing to brag about)

"Good to see some offense" How am I supposed to guess something so cryptic? Steelers offense sucked so I'm confused, and even if Big Ben was at QB then would get the about the same amount of yards..

Yeah, I'm at a loss..

I just said it was nice to see some offense. Mendenhall ran for over a 100, had a TD, Hines got 1 and Wallace caught 2 40+ yard TDs. It was a nice change..

The D is playing lights out. If our offense can put some points up early and control the TOP, it's gonna be hard to beat the Steelers this year..

I think the Ravens will be a good test. Their secondary is weak without Ed Reed. The one thing Batch could do that Dixon couldn't was hit Wallace on the deep ball. That might be just enough of an edge to get a win.

with foxworth and reed out that secondary is weak, also ray rice might not play.

I'm guessing they will try and pressure batch for most of the game to avoid time to throw the deep ball and force the steelers to play short, giving the Ravens front 7 to chances cause turn overs.

Really good match up if Rice plays.

I used to think he was overrated too, until last year when I saw him play behind our horrible O line. He's like 100 times better at football than he is at raping, and he's really, really good at raping.

Bold Prediction of the Week:

The Steelers kick the Ravens ass. The D is schematically and physically dominant and they set up the Offense to score some easy points. The Steelers hand the Ravens a beating..

I have no reason to think that they'd be anything but thrilled..

Ben came into camp looking really focused and he's a huge upgrade over every other QB we have on the roster. Watching the game today with Batch was hard. The Raven's DBs couldn't cover Wallace, but Batch couldn't get him the ball. He either didn't see him or didn't have the arm strength. Batch also goes down easily and isn't 1/2 the competitor Ben is..

I gotta think they welcome Ben back with open arms..

you would think so, and thats what i thought too....But i was hearing reports that the locker room was split. I think maybe they resent the fact that he's been involved in so much bullshit outside the team over the last few years

Winning cures everything. Nobody really knows what goes on in the locker room, but if you can have a player as good as Ben come back at 3-1 and get you to a Super Bowl, you're not gonna complain.

As for yesterday, anybody notice our 4th quarter defense coming back to fuck us again like last year? We can't stop the quick outs for the life of us. And of course, who beats us, but TJ Houshmandfuckingzedah? I hate that man.

On the plus side, the Ravens didn't look like a very good football team. They couldn't run the ball for shit, our receivers beat them deep all day, Batch had PLENTY of time (its his own damn fault for not throwing the ball faster), we ran the ball on them like crazy. I was expecting a game where it was much tougher for both sides to get yardage. If we can score on them like that with Chuck playing QB, I think we have a very, very good chance of beating them next time around (as long as Ed Reed doesn't come back healthy).

Right now, I'm cool with the division looking like this after 4 games:
1. Ravens 3-1
2. Steelers 3-1
3. Bengals 2-2
4. Browns 1-3

Especially with teams like the Colts at 2-2, and nobody in the AFC at 4-0, we're looking like a lock for the playoffs, as AFC North Champs or Wildcards.

Ray Rice got it going against the Broncos, I think they are a complete NFL team, they are strong everywhere, but I'm a bit unsure about flacco when it counts. def a 2 horse race so far between steelers and ravens for the division, but I'm still tipping steelers, solid everywhere even with ben out, top coach too.

Steelers given up 47 points to the Ravens 61 so far

Yeah, Broncos def didn't bring their A game. Ray Ray had like 130 and 2 TDs, and then McGahee pulled out a big TD run at the end. At least against the Steelers, the Ravens aren't gonna put up 200 rush yards and 3 rushing TD's. So I'm not as worried about that in a head to head game.

As far as passing, Flacco really ain't shit. He's not consistent when it matters. He left Pitt for Delware because he wasn't even good enough to play at Pitt.

Then again he did throw the TD pass that beat us last week.
