What the hell is Deja Vu?
Now so many times...
I've been places and done things...

and for some reason I feel like I've already done
those things a long time ago...
But I havn't ....

I don't know what Deja Vu is...

let's talk about this from different points of view

I always looked at Deja Vu as a significant event in your life or like a fork in the road type of foresight phenomenon. Look at this way yall, if it is an event that was already gonna happen, and if you can remember what you did at that point and try to do somethin different when you experience Deja Vu hmmm.... would you have the ability to change or shape your future? I've tried this a couple of times and sometimes I remember doing the same exact thing that I thought I was doin different even when I was trying to do something different like instead of sitting here I'd sit over there or I'd grab a different object or somethin.

The wierd thing is if you did do somethin different then what you remembered, then you couldn't of remembered it, and you wouldn't get the feelin of Deja Vu, right?

Or you could of already of changed your future when you experienced the vision the first time and that's why your remembering it now.

I think it's a gift we all possess but not all know how to use it. It could be regret and a message your gaurdian angels are sending you before hand based on what they know of your personality and the mathematical probabalities of all the known variables your likely to encounter. Whatever, I don't have time right now to get too in depth with it.

I think Deja Vu is when you're trippin and see very distinct similarities in a situation that you might have been through before. Of course if you have been through a similar situation you will be able to figure out that you can make a different choice. That weird feeling is telling you to follow your instict-unless you're a fuckin retard without common sense.

Deja Vu is fun, just not when other people are around me. One of my friends was lighting and flicking matches, and I was in mid-sentence and just blurted out "And if you don't stop flicking those matches, I'm going to get pissed off!", for no real reason.

99 times out of 100, I could have gave a fuck if he did it, but like Ender was saying, I was trying to change shit that never happened in the first place, but that I nonetheless remembered enough to want to alter it.

I do believe, as someone else said, it's when your brain processes something twice.

I get a lot of De Ja Vu and at the time I swear it's more than a brain glitch. It "means" something. I had some horrible de ja vu a few years ago for like 3 months running. Every 5 minutes I had de ja vu.

Part of you wants to shake off the De ja vu by doing something different.

^^Maybe it's not really the first time you have done whatever it is.

I got Deja Vu a couple summers ago, for about a month straight every day at least 3-4 times a day, always around the same 2-3 areas. I swear I had never been there before, but maybe it's that you have already done it and dont' remember, or it was in a past life (if you believe in that).

I guess I just don't believe in "fate" so to speak. I think you can create your own destiny, cause you make the choices that effect your life and in a sense by those choices you make there is a cause and effect. The cause being whatever made you make that choice and the effect being the rest of your life after that choice.

Depends on your belief.....if you believe in God, everything is already decided for you pretty much. if not, you are free to live your life as you see fit, without worry of going to "hell". lol....

ok so some of you surprised me here (ones talkin about it happening alot lately)

well from about 2 weeks ago that shit started happening daily to me also.
and not those pussy ass deja vu : "hmm this is the same thought process that happened before"
its more like my whole body gets the feeling that i am in a certain place that i have been to before.
like you know how places have a "feel" to them.

also whats been happening is at times i will remember this thing which seems like is soo vivid to me, but i cant remember where its from, most likely a VIVID ASS dream that i dont remember having.
but the thing about this is whenever it happens and i begin to remember, if i were to work at remembering more i will be able to do it.
BUT the more i remember the more like somebody up there said ,i lose my complete grasp of whats happening around me (cant keep a straight convo), and i will end up actually feeling a choke in my throat so i will be forced to cough also.
so i become forced to have to sit down, stop trying to remember, and take my mind off of it for 25 seconds for it to go away and i will feel normal again.\

yeah i know most of this is just blabble or whatever but i was shocked so many ppl on here seemed to go thru the same shit im going through that i thought would be hard as fuck to explain to people.

You might have epilepsy...

Some people who get epileptic seizures experience a feeling of deja vu right before.... and BTW it is possible to have an epileptic seizure without it being physically noticeable (other than you look zoned out for a few moments).

The fact that you describe a feeling of dizzy lightheadedness following the deja vu feeling is what makes me think its epilepsy. If you feel dysfunctional for a few moments or completely black out proceeding a feeling of deja vu... then it's definitely epilepsy.

once again like i said in the post ^above^... sounds like a small case of epilepsy. You should look definitely look into it.
