kids in cali? i coulda sworn it took place in NY or somewhere around there... either way itz dope though... hella realistic too, I can relate to alot of that shit they were sayin/doin, as im sure alot of u can too... jus hearin em talk is like wtf they got it dead on... great flick

Most of the charicters in the movie were not acting traditionally. They were improv scripted. Scenes were held at partys and then everyone would act out the scene and go back to partying. Most of the actors in the movie were skateboarders from the Brooklyn Banks and EMB (Justin Herman Plaza) sets.
