We as a region are in a position where we don't even get the chance to be underrated...Our music goes un-noticed. So I guess you can say the whole region is underrated, because the industry, radio across the country, TV and even fans don't seem to feel that Bay music as a whole or our quality artist as men standing on there own two feet deseve to be rated period.

There are alot of under rated rappers and producers in the Bay. I think as producers Bed Rock is one of the most under rated. The tracks that he did on Jacka's album were the best and most universal IMO. Rappers I think Equipto, J Stalin, Bedda Wedda, The Frontline, Bailey, Tajj and Neo The Gift are some of the ones that if given the "major label push" could set the country ablaze. In addition to them I would add Clyde Carson...I would say FAB, but he gets alot of coverage, so I can't say he is under rated. The R&B singers would be J Valentine, Netta B and Jimmy Rain. I guess what I'm saying is that the Bay has EVERYTHING needed to spark a musical takeover, but we may have waisted our chance at "taking over" and creating global stars when we jumped on Hyphy's back and rode with it right off the cliff and crashed on some jagged rocks.

Balance

I swear if re-listen to that 'Young & Restless' album in 2009, you catch shit you didn't hear on the first couple of listens....
co sign to that. i remember that album being dropped the same time Bailey's Champ Bailey album did. the bay was at its peak of the hyphy movement and Balance's Young & Restless album was waaaayyyy overlooked because there was too much shit going on in the bay that time and EVERYONE was trying to shine. if Balance was to drop that album right now, it would be at the same level as Jacka's Tear Gas. ON CITAS.
