thats because you let the left and people of that way of thinking define you that way and classify you that way.
when people ask me if i am Mexican American i always say no (even when it is other Mexicans/Mexican Americans saying that. they always ask arent you Mexican though?? and i always say no, i wasnt born in Mexico therefore i am not Mexican. i simply tell every1 that i am an American. Born and raised in the good ole USA.
oh ya, and i never fill in the "what ethnicity are you" question when filling out paperwork. i either leave it blank and check off the refuse to stae section. and that is simply because the state has no business asking me what ethnicity i am, period!!!
