mac dre was definitely an influence.
40 launched it to the world!
rick rock started the sound!!!!!!! the federation jumped it off musically.
mtv execs. have personally told me about the work that fillmoe mike put in behind the scenes!! he took a flight out there to meet with mtv and bet to introduce them to this movement. he's been lacing all the major magazines about this shit. i'm just giving credit where its due. he's the boston george of this bay area music scene without the dope.

thats what i said. but for real, people need to grow the fuck up. it used to be bay rap fans would cry about everyone else bitin our shit, now its everyone cryin about bay rappers bitin eachother. why cant the bay just be the bay, unite as one and quit beefin with eachother. It didnt used to be like this.
