and to teh ppl that were asking about 2-player..thast what that annoying ass girlfriend bitch you get is for...once you guys hook up it unlocks 2-player..not exaclty sure on how it works but i know it involves her

You can only do the home invasion at night. Here's what the book says:
Follow the "R" icon on the radar map to find the red marker outside of Ryders house. The mission triggers only between 12:00 and 20:00--its a night mission. When CJ finds him in the back yard, Ryder is pretty fried. He tells CJ about a retired vet with a stash of military weapons. The two of you decide to pay him a little visit that night, although Ryder seems too wired for a job like this.
