He will be missed. He was no doubt the best hitter of all time, or at least one of the best. The last man to hit .400 and a hell of a guy all around.

What's with all the baseball players dying lately? Seems like baseball is getting stricken with deaths the past two weeks.

i think he was the best hitter ever, and that's sayin a lot b/c my fave player all time is willie mays but teddy gave up like 5 seasons to fight in the war...he breaks babe ruths record b4 aaron most likely if he has those 5 seasons, in his prime no less
