Through continued support throughout the Midwest, Urban Scene Magazine is taking flight once again. The new website is being uploaded, as this post is being written, and is the colaboration of all the love, support and comments from you, the artists and fans.

We also now have an official release date for the first issue, January 12th, 2004 and continuing every month, thereafter. We have some super hot interviews, reviews, groundbreaking columns and much more in store.

As stated from the beginning, we are here to expose the Midwest to the world and give the Midwest urban scene a platform from which to launch and promote it's products and artists, which until now, has been nonexistent.

No longer will we have to rely on "Rock & Roll" catered publications to promote our music and culture. No longer will we have to wait for cities like L.A. and New York to come take notice. We will bring it to them....and with a platform such as this, they will have no choice but to listen and pay attention.

The Midwest is here! Stand up and be counted!

Good Shit Homie

the site looks like its makin' a good start. and i agree its way passed time that the midwest gets the kind of exposure it deserves. you would think after all the flame spittin' cats from the midwest area it would get that kind of recognition by now. but some still choose to sleep, and some just choose not to give midwest artists what they deserve. but in time that will change
